When we arrived back at camp there were around ten tents up, me and Ally were assigned the littlest tent but the one right in the middle, I don't know who got one to themselves but I didn't care,I wouldn't have liked sleeping alone anyway. We joined the group around a pile of woods, if they could get a fire started, this would probably be very fun and feel like the camping I used to do as a kid, but seeing as they couldn't get a fire started, we were just a bunch on teenagers huddling around a pile of wood and coal.
"So, anybody know how to light a fire?" Asked Shawn, running too sticks together violently, no one answered him, apparently we would all suck at living in the wild.
"I have a lighter!" Squealed Lexi, diving into her bag and pushing her hair back seductively as she handed it to Nash, she looks like sloth scratching it's head. Or maybe I just didn't like her.
"Why the hell do you have a lighter?" Demanded Carter, who had a real thing about drugs and smoking, he looked totally disgusted and I made a mental note to invite him to my I-Hate-Lexi club.
She shrugged her shoulders, knocking the strap from her shoulder revealing more skin than she had already showed off, she didn't bother pulling it up again.
"I don't know," she grinned, looking happy at all of the attention. Ally looked at me as reenacted throwing up at Lexi's obvious need to be noticed, I laughed and Nash and Cam joined in, apparently they'd seen Ally as well.
Shawn was talking to Megan, who was blushing deeply and obviously, her usually pale cheeks glowing red. Carter had walked off to meet his girlfriend, Maggie, who had decided to join us, making us a group of eighteen with only ten tents. Matt, Jack and Jack were still struggling to light the fire and Kathryn, Lexi, Daisy and Hayes were squeezed into a tiny tent complaining that they couldn't see anything and they were hungry, which everyone ignored.
Me, Ally, Nash and Cam were sitting on two logs facing each other, laughing and talking.
"So,I heard you played truths?" Asked Nash, curiously.
"Oooo, I LOVE that game! All secrets come out" Cam smirked, "what were the questions?"
"We only had one in the end, because Lexi got stressed out and me and Ally left." I said.
"So, what was THE question?" Can asked again.
"Kat asked us which boy we would date out of you lot." Allison replied.
"What was your answer?" Asked Cameron staring at her.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Ally winked with a devilish grin. "I said probably Matt or Carter or one of the Jacks, basically everyone but you." She told him ruffling his hair.
He laughed and stuck his tongue out at her like a little kid, they started their own conversation while me and Nash watched.
"What did you say?" Nash asked and I turned to find him staring at me.
"Well, Daisy said Hayes, Ally said Cam-" I started ignoring his actual question.
"And Aimee said Nash!" Ally butted in, giving me a toothy grin and a wink. I stared at her with my mouth hanging open.
"Well, I'm gonna change into my pyjamas" I muttered quickly, grabbing Ally's elbow as I left, forcing her to follow me to the tent.
"What was that all about?" I demanded as soon as we were inside.
"It was my genius plan to get you and Nash together." She explained digging into her bag for pjs.
"How is that exactly?" I questioned, still staring at her.
"Well your never gonna get together if neither of you admit your feeling, I was just speeding up the process." She grinned at me and I felt any annoyance disolve, she was just being a good friend and thinking about me.
I smiled back at her and we changed into our pyjamas.
