May,Aaron and Shaun all lived in the same area so they had headed off together along with Megan who had wanted to stay with Shaun. That left me,Ally, Cam and Nash. We headed back through the woods half dressed; the girls had only pulled on their shorts so we only wore bikini tops to cover our top halves and the boys only wore swimming trunks.

"Well isn't this cute? Us two couples who are best friends? It's like we're in a movie or something!" Sang Cameron, it always amused me how he spoke, he just seemed super happy and excited about everything.

"Well, I don't know about anyone else but I'm loving it." Nash said, coming up next to me and grabbing my hand, entwining my fingers with his.

"It's the best." Replied Ally with a grin as stood on her tiptoes and kissed Cameron quickly on the lips. Cameron beamed. The two of them danced ahead chatting away endlessly about private jokes, Cam was constantly looking at her, he kept trying to touch her in any way he could, her hands, her waist, her hair, she seemed oblivious to his sincere affection and I couldn't decide whether it upset me how she didn't notice or glad that he cared so genuinely for her.

"What are you thinking about?" Nash asked, bumping his hip against mine.

"Just about Cam really." I said absentmindedly, I was so lost in thought that I didn't realise my hand lifting into the air behind me, I turned back confused at the strange change of gravity. Nash, still clutching my hand, had stopped walking as I'd continued, he looked slightly dumb-founded at my statement. It took me a moment to remind myself what it was I'd said at which point I explained, "No, I didn't mean that, I meant Cam and Ally together and how much he clearly loves her." I blushed slightly, I hated admitting how observant I was.

"Oh." Nash breathed, still looking confused but after a moment of processing my words relief flooded his features and he caught up to me, closing the gap between us. "You know what I realised?"

"What did you realise?"

He rolled his eyes and continued, "I don't know much about you really."

"Erm, okay?" I didn't really have a reply for that, I mean what did he want me to do? Just subtly blurt my life story at him during a conversation about the weather? I always thought you learnt things about people over time and too be honest, it's not like we've had much alone time to just talk, I don't think we'd even had many serious conversations yet. Hell, we'd not even been on a real date!

"So, I thought we could play a game!" He suggested, ignoring my un-encouraging reply, "well it's not really a game, it's kind of like a quiz but longer, and it's just me and you playing and I can't believe what I'm saying it's stupid really.." He rattled on, clearly embarrassed and I quickly stopped him before he talked himself out of telling me.

"Nash what is it?" I asked, squeezing his hand a little to reassure him I didn't mind whatever he wanted to say.

"Well, basically, it's just taking turns to ask each other questions, they don't have to be important, just little things so that we know each other you better..." His words drifted off and he tugged at his hair, staring at the tree trunk ahead of us.

"I think it's a good idea, we can try it." I smiled approvingly towards him and my heart melted at his adorable face as he looked up at me like I was his favourite movie star telling him his acting was good.

"Shall we give it a go now?" He said, watching me with huge blue puppy dog eyes. I just started at him blankly, still caught up in those perfect eyes. "Or not, I don't mind that much..." His enthusiasm deflated and he looked to the floor, hanging his head low.

"No of course, I want to! Really I do!" I reassured him, and so we did.
