Daisy was the first to move, she wiped her eyes, apparently over the sadness she had felt only moments ago. In fact he looked rather proud of herself.
"Well that was dramatic." She shrugged, walking over to the sink for a glass of water.
"Daisy, did you just lie to me?" I asked much calmer than I expected.
"Does it matter? I'm your best friend! I know what's good for you Lia!" She replied taking my hand, as if saying that would make me forgive her for lying to me.
"OF COURSE IT MATTERS!" I screamed in exasperation.
"Why? You've not lost anything but an ugly bitch that wasn't worth you." She shrugged and pulled me towards the living room. "Let's just go back to the party, you'll get over this by tomorrow"
I wriggled free of her grip and kept my feet planted to the floor glaring at her.
"No I won't! I basically kicked Ally out because I listened to you and not her, all because I thought you'd never lie to me, how am I gonna make that up to her?"
"You don't need to worry about it, seriously Amelia, it's like you actually thought she was your best friend or something." She laughed at her own joke and then turned serious when she saw my expression.
"She was and even though I've only known her for a week, I'm already starting to think she cares about me more that you ever did.
"Don't be stupid" Daisy pouted "just come back and dance with me hun"
"And what about Megan? Now she's annoyed at me and Ali probably hates me, all because I trusted the wrong person."
"They don't matter, you have me, isn't that enough?"
"I think you should go" I whispered.
Her face twisted into pure fury, she stared at me long and hard, waiting for me to take it back. I didn't, I just stared straight back until she huffed and stormed out of the house.
I sat on the floor with my legs crossed, not even noticing when someone walked into the kitchen with me.
"Are you okay?" Nash asked, standing directly in front of me.
"Yeah, I'm good" I replied rushing to my feet. Wiping my cheeks as I did. I went to walk back to the part but he spun my around to face him by my elbows, and held my chin up, forcing me to look at his face.
"No your not."
I felt tears fall down my face and he pulled me into his arms as I cried. I had felt completely alone, but he made me feel better. Less lonely.
"What am I going to do?" I muttered.
