Chapter Twenty Five - Forgiveness

"What are you doing here?" I stammered,still gaping at Allison.

"Well I came to apologise for being so abrupt with you yesterday, I realise you were trying to apologise and I should've at least listened."

"No, that's fine. I understood that you were angry, I'd be fuming if the roles were reversed."

"Erm, is there somewhere we could talk? Like privately?" She asked,looking past me and into the house.

"Sure c'mon, we can go to my bedroom." I said turning to head up the stairs,"oh, Megan, did you want to go help Nash with the plates and things? He's in the kitchen."

Megan nodded, looking relieved at not having to come upstairs with Ally and I. We walked slowly up the stairs and into my bedroom, all the time it took to get there I had used mentally preparing myself to speak first. I looked at her in the eyes as I spoke.

"Ally, I know your mad but I've got to explain myself, Daisy and Megan have been my best friends for years, they've never, to my knowledge, lied to me before. I've only known you for a few weeks, admittedly it feels like forever but in reality it hasn't been long, I assumed the worst in you and I shouldn't have, I know you wouldn't lie to me, I just made a stupid mistake because I didn't want to believe Daisy would lie to me. I swear it will never happen again though, ever. I want you to know that you are my best friend now, even if you don't feel the same, you mean the world to me and I couldn't stand losing you because I know that you care more for me than anyone else ever has, I'm sorry it took me so long to realise, but from now on I'm going to put you first, your my first choice always, I love you Al."

When I finished I held my breath, waiting for her to scream at me and storm from the house, but she didn't. Her face softened and her eyes pooled, "aw Aimee, it's fine, I love you too darling. Thank you for apologising, I was stupid thinking that you'd put me first over your best friends, it actually shows how loyal you are to the people you love and I should've appreciated that."

"Well your the people I love now, I'll be by your side for a hell of a long time, your stuck with me." I replied, feeling my own eyes water at our gooey display of affection.

"Forever and always?" She asked, a single tear falling down her cheek but a little smile on her lips.

"Forever and always." I agreed and we hugged and laughed and cried, until Nash yelled up the stairs about crumbling to death if he didn't eat soon. We giggled and I gave her a piggy back down the stairs and into the kitchen to greet a beaming Megan and Nash. I felt like we were in the movies.

"Hold your horses." Ally held one arm up to Nash to stop him from eating while she stared down at her other hand which held her phone. "The whole crew want to come down for dinner, what'd you think Aimee?"

"Who's the 'whole crew'?"

"well Cam,Carter, Jack J, Jack G,Aaron, Matt,Shawn, Mahogany, Lexi but not Hayes, apparently he can't make it." She replied, they all looked at me expectantly.

"How bad would it be if I let everyone come round except Lexi?" I asked, only half joking.

"Pretty bad" Megan answered.

"Eurgh fine, but they need to bring their own food because we don't have enough." I told her.
"Kay, I'll tell them" Ally said, texting as she sat on the counter beside me,only to have her legs smacked alongside me by Megan because we weren't helping, so we reluctantly stood to help warm up dishes, get drinks and such.
