I must admit, I was rather proud of myself.
I stood at the entrance of my room with my hands on my hips and a toothy grin plastered on my face. Finished.
It had taken me only one day to complete my bedroom. It now had white walls and fluffy carpet with an orange rug - not luminous orange but the orange like sunset, my favourite colour. It had a large double bed with white covers and fairy lights all over the head board, their was a desk with little multi coloured mugs filled with stationary (I didn't know where else to put my pens and things), there were draws with clothes neatly stacked inside, a huge shelf crammed with books, a bathroom just for me - with a huge bath and even bigger shower! - and a small cupboard in the corner which I decided to use as a walk-in-wardrobe kinda thing.
The back wall was decorated in millions of photos of my life, there was no white space as I figured I could change ugly ones for pretty ones if I like new ones more. There was also a large window seat covered in orange pillows that matched the rug that I was currently moving towards to skype Daisy.
"Hey darling!" I grinned.
She beamed back at me,her black hair falling into her green eyes, "Amelia! I miss you so much already! How am I gonna live without you?!"
I pouted into the camera and I told her that she'd always have me over Skype and she could come visit soon, she liked this idea and after talking for a while I gave her a virtual tour of my house and hung up before stripping into my underwear and crawling into bed.
Tomorrow is Sunday and the last day I have before starting my new school. I think I'm gonna need my beauty sleep.
