I woke up when I felt that someone was pouring a lots of water in my face. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the dark sky. I almost forgot, it's raining.

"Close the gates!"

"We won everyone!"

"They retreated!"

Those were the noises I heard that made me stood up. And when I did I was terrified from what I am seeing right now.

There's a lot of guys that were wearing an armored suit, they have spears, swords, shields and even bows and arrows. I gulped when I looked around. The houses were already broken. They are all dirty and they looked like they haven't showered for a week!

My body is shaking right now. I don't understand at all. Am I dreaming? Am I..dead?

"AHHH!" I shouted. The armored man stopped celebrating when they heard me. They all looked at me with a confused look.

"Who is this?!" one of them asked

"Ladies do not belong here!" I heard the other one.

One tall guy walks towards me and gave me a look.

"Stand back!" I tried stopping him. He chuckled and looked at the other guys.

"It's the first time that someone has the guts and shouted at me." and they all laughed.

I closed my eyes when he raised his left hand to slap me.

Where am I? Why I am here?! I want to go home. Please just tell me I am dreaming!

"I'm sorry soldiers, but this is my cousin and she is currently having a mental breakdown from this war." I opened my eyes and looked up to see a woman. Her hair was tied up, she is also wearing a Korean hanbok, and her age is just like my age.

The tall guy looked at me before putting his hand down. "Get her out of this place." He said before leaving us and walked to his men.

The woman who saved my life pulled my arm, I just followed her and let her lead the way. And because I am scared, I didn't felt that I was already crying.

We went inside a small house. It even stinks and it's full of weapons. The woman turned on the light and closed the door. She looked at me..looking so annoyed.

"I didn't know that you will act like this." She said as she shakes her head.

"Where am I?! Who are you?! Why—"

"Hold on your questions. I have already the answers." She said. I stopped talking and let her explain.

"You're on a mission Jennie." She said.

"Mission?" I asked her.

She nods her head, "Did you read the book?" She asked me

"Book? What book?"

"The tragic—"

I chuckled. "That book again? Of course I didn't, that's a stupid story."

"If you haven't read it, then it's harder for you to complete this mission."

"And why would I be in this mission? Why me?!"

"Because of me." she said. "From the moment I saw how my sister was killed... I swear to God that in the year 2020, someone will help me find out who is the responsible in my sister's death."
