"Good morning,"I woke up when I heard a husky voice whispered on my ear. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the General smiling. She is already ready to go out because she is now wearing her armored suit and her hair was already tied up. I rise up from the foam bed and look outside through the window. I still can see the sunrise and I can't hear any noises from outside.
"Everyone was still sleeping. You should go back to your room." She said before standing up. "Do you want me to come with you?" she looks worried.
"I-I'm fine. Maybe that guy left already." I smiled at her and stood up.
"I'm sorry for what I acted. I ignored you.. and I told you something that I wished I shouldn't." I was read to slid her door when she suddenly apologized. I turned around and saw her smiling. "Just forget about that." I nodded as my reply and walked outside of her room.
It's a brand new morning but I still remembers what happened last night. It's like a nightmare for me. The guy's voice stuck inside my head and I just want to remove it but I can't. I sighed.
When I slid the door of our room, I saw the servants were still sleeping. The wedding will start later but they are still sleeping? Well, they will not prepare any decorations anymore since we are locked up inside the kingdom. I sit down on the corner near the window and took out my notebook under the pillow.
"dear diary,
i am jennie ruby jane kim from seoul south korea. 20. living my college life. single. i want to become an attorney. but i ended up here in the past to save the general. everything is happening so fast and i couldn't even think so well. i am always scared about what might happened to me and to this kingdom. it's like i am hero that will save everyone. but.. i am not. i am just an ordinary cheerleader girl from our school. i study law. i hate history. i love painting. i am telling you this in case i will be stuck here or in case i will die sooner or later. i love my mom so much. i will miss nayeon. i wish nothing but the best for the general and to this kingdom. today is a new day. i hope the general's plan today will work.
-jennie"
"You didn't sleep here.. Where have you been?" I immediately closed my notebook when I heard Mina's voice. She just woke up and her hair is still kinda messy.
I gulped. "W-What do you mean? I slept here.. I was just late." I lied.
She shrugged her shoulders, "Whatever." she stood up and walked away. I sighed and sealed the notebook again. I stood up and walked outside so that I can wash my face.
After washing my hands, I took from Mina what she had prepared and cooked for the princess. Although I am the one who needs to cook her food, she is still doing it for me. And I am happy because she helps me. When the food was prepared, I go to the Princess's room and saw her staring at her beautiful hanbok to be worn later. She put it down and smiled at me after.
"You always cook so delicious meals," she smile widely. I just awkwardly smiled back it wasn't me. But okay. She sits down properly and starts eating her breakfast.
"I'll prepare your bath your highness," I smiled before bowing and leaving her. While preparing, I sighed that I realized I only have two weeks left to complete this mission but everything happened like it's already one month. Could it really be possible? That.. that you can fall in love with a person just in a week? Or maybe days?
My heart starts beating fast when I remembered the General's face. She looks beautiful and handsome as always. I wonder what she looks like later in the wedding?
