Chapter 26

"Everyone, General Chin Hwa wants us all to be there."

Mina groaned as we heard Jihyo announcement to us inside our room. We decided to rest for a while when we finished our works and now that Chin Hwa wants us outside. Did something happened? Why he wants us to be there?

I was always thinking about that Chin Hwa. He knows something about me and the King before slapping me. He is always mad at me, I think he hates my presence. But what did I do? Does he hates the King that's why he is punishing me and Manoban? Did Namjoon told him everything that is happening here? Are they the killers? I will investigate more about them.

When we arrived inside the kingdom, I saw the King and the Queen sitting in front peacefully. I saw the King glance at me and gave me a flirty smile. I looked away, she really knows how to make me blush.

General Chin Hwa was standing in the middle. We lined up as we should together with the warriors. They are on my right side facing the General, the Queen and the King, while we are on the left side.

"You must be wondering why are you here.." General Chin Hwa started. "You are here today because I'm going to announce something. I didn't decided this just for myself, but for the Kingdom too," he said. "Your royal highnesses have already agreed with me on this one," he smiled. "Since the warriors have their great General right now.." he said sarcastically referring to Manoban, "We have to assigned to for the servants."

I heard the gasped from the other servants. This is what I heard when I stayed with them in the Queen's room. I wonder why Chin Hwa wants this. He is planning something.

"I declare, Servant Ji Hyo to become the head of the servants starting today!" the other servants widened their eyes when they heard Jihyo's name. But I didn't. I can already feel that it would be her. Are they planning something? Is Jihyo one of the traitors?

Jihyo walked in front. We started clapping our hands softly. I take a glance on the King and he is looking at me with a worried face. Who would not be worried? Jihyo hated me before... and I don't know if she still hates me. But I must be extra careful of her actions. She might do something to me. I have to be strong starting today. She might become a distraction to me on my goal.

Jihyo bowed and gave us all a smile. "There, so starting today ladies... you will all follow her instructions. She will still help you all of course, but she will become your leader now. There's some cases in our law book that 'whoever disobeyed the leader will be punished'. So I hope you will all follow her, understood?"

"Yes General!" we answered and then bowed. Jihyo walked back towards us while smiling widely. She looks so happy based on her action today.

After the declaration, we all go back to our rooms to rest for awhile. They all congratulated Jihyo. She just answered them 'thank you'.

"Won't you congratulate me Jennie?" she asked. I turned around and saw her smirking at me.

"Congratulations." I smiled awkwardly and lay down on my bed. Mina lays down beside me.

"I hope Jihyo won't be a strict leader, right?" she sighed

"I won't be surprised if she is." I chuckled before closing my eyes.

When I woke up, no one is inside the room already. I looked outside the window and I was shocked when it's already sunset. I immediately run outside to help and to do my tasks for tonight.
