Chapter 5

I just woke but it's too early and I can still see the other servants still sleeping. I sighed and sits down to lean my back on the wall. I stared at the notebook that was given to me by the General, I slowly took it.

The General gave this to me if I feel so lonely. I took Jeongyeon's pen and it's ink so that I can write something in it.

'dear diary.

it's been three days since i got here. i just want to go home to my year, but why i can't do that? why does helping the general makes me stay here? i don't even know her. and i just don't understand. i hope.. that i can i understand what's happening with my life. i hope one day i will open my eyes and i can finally see my mother. i will hug her and i will tell her how i love her and i will not do anything that makes her heart ache because of me. i promise that.

I hide my notebook under the pillow and sealed it. Then I walked outside while they are still sleeping, I need to wash my face before going to the Princess. It's my first time not being late and I think my body is getting used to it.

I washed my face when I saw the barrel full of water. I also washed my mouth. They don't even have the toothbrush and I think my breathe is really bad. Sigh.

"Hana!" While washing my face, I heard someone shouted. I finished washing my face before walking towards the voice.

"Dul!" I hide behind the tree and saw Prince Jimin. I think he was exercising for the sword practice later. He is short but he has a flexible body.

"Se!" then he stopped kicking the air. I heard him catch his breathe and wiped his sweats on his forehead using her hand. "Fuck this." I heard him said. The Prince knows how to cursed? That's unexpected. Suddenly he turned around and saw me. Why do they keep on catching me spying on them?!

I tried to run away but he already called me.

"Hey you!" I heard him yelled. I sighed as I heard his footsteps coming to me. I slowly turned around while being nervous. I gulped and looked at him. His forehead is creased while staring at me. "Why are you watching me? Who are you?" He asked

"I..I'm just trying to wash my face when I heard your voice.. I am sorry your highness." I told him and bowed.

"I saw you at the training room yesterday.. you are one of the Princess's servant aren't you?" He asked. I nodded my head. "Tell me, do you know who will win the challenge? Did the Princess told you?" he asked me

"She haven't told me who will won. It's a fair game so how would she decide right away?" I asked him

He smirked. "I just think she already have decided who will won."

"You're wrong.. She haven't.. She will wait until someone will win. She is being fair." I told him

"You're new here?" He shake his head as he chuckles. "You don't anything in your kingdom? The King here was known for having a favoritism and for being a play boy,"

Playboy? Princess Rosé's dad was playboy?

"W-What?"

"I'm right. You don't know anything." He smiled. "Princess Rosé's father was a playboy before. In short, he loves women. That's why he put the General to become a general here which is unacceptable because women are assigned in the house while men are assigned in the war. Did you got that?" I wanted to defend the General, but the Prince will notice that I am on the General's side. "But what can we do? He has favoritism. And he might told Princess Rosé to marry the General when the right time comes."
