"Hey don't say that. Someone might hear you and spread false rumors." I nervously chuckled. Are we really that obvious? How could she tell me that the King likes me?

"She's always checking on you," She said as she chews her food. "I talked to her before I finally moved on." She said. She talked to the King? Is this the time when I'm jealous?

"What did you told her?" I asked her.

"Well," she drank her water. "I apologized for pushing myself to her. I just realized I looked so desperate." She chuckled. "Then she smiled and apologized too for not liking me the way I like her,"

"Then how could you say that she likes me?" I know the King likes me, but I just don't want it to become obvious.

"He mentioned that he love someone already, she is laughing while saying that. And every time I looked at the King, she is always looking at you as if she is wanted to help you do your chores."

Why would the King pity me? He already knows that I'm just a servant, of course I do a lot of jobs. Well, maybe because he really likes me keke.

I chuckled, "We're cousins you know. It's impossible." I don't want to hurt her feelings, she is a sister to me right now.

"Having a relationship with your cousin is not a thing here." Well, in our world.. marrying your family member is a sin.

"Don't be like that," I stopped her from pushing me to the king. She just chuckled and we continued eating our food.

"You're just making our servants sick. What kind of task is that?" I heard the King's voice outside the Queen's room. I think he is talking to General Chin Hwa with the Queen.

"I agreed because she said it will help the other servants rest for a while," General Chin Hwa answered her.

"But you're killing the two other servants!"

"Why are you angry Jisoo? Don't make me think that you're having an affair with one of the servants."

"They are my people. Not yours, so stay in your lane." I gulped. Delivering their lunch is not a good time. After that, I was assigned again on being the Queen's servant.

"I thought you're going to the village outside to investigate? Aren't you going now?" I heard the Queen's voice.

"I will. I'm going to leave now." He said, then he slids the door open. He looked at me from head to foot before he intentionally bumped me with his shoulder.

"Jennie, why did you delivered that? I told you to rest." The queen exclaimed when she saw me. I entered her room while smiling.

"I already did your highness," I assured her. I saw the king staring at me. I looked away and put down their food on the table.

"I was worried about you," She said.

"Meet me at the river." The king said before leaving the Queen's room. I looked at the Queen as if I'm asking permission to her, she just nods her head, I left her room and walked towards the river.
