Chapter 37

[day 26/30]

"Jisoo?"

I woke up and looked for Jisoo first. But there's no signs of her at all. I started to panicked and look everywhere. Our bonfire is still here. Her horse and the baby was gone. Jisoo? Where are you? I stood up immediately and went outside. I hugged myself because of the cold temperature. The snow blizzard blocks my view and I can't see a damn thing, even the wind is very cold!

"Jisoo?! Jisoo!" I screamed her name and tried to look for her. I tried walking and looked for her even though it's very cold. "Jisoo!!"

I looked at my right side when I saw a man walking towards me. I can't see it clearly because of the snow. I feel so nervous because it could be Aries. Did..Did he killed Jisoo?

My eyes widened when I realized it's Jisoo! She is carrying the baby and she is holding on her other hand the rope of her horse.

"Jisoo!" I ran towards her. She looked at me and smiled then I hugged her. "I thought..you left me." I nearly cried.

"I won't." She answered. I took the baby from her and we all entered the cave again. I noticed that she went hunting because of the feathers on her hair. Then I saw a dead chicken. She cooked it and let me take care of the baby.

"The baby looked so hungry." I told her. She took a baby bottle from her bag and handed it to me. "Where did you get this milk?" I asked.

"From a cow." She answered. Is she serious? I just bought her answer and let the baby drink the milk. The baby smiled as she drinks her milk. So cute..

The baby fell asleep so we ate our breakfast. She is so quiet and she looked so sad while eating the chicken that she cooked.

"A..Are you alright?" I asked. She looked at me and smiled.

"Yes. Don't worry about me," she answered

"Is something bothering you?" I won't buy her excuse.

She sighed and looked at me defeated. "I don't know if....if. I can defeat Jug-Eum." She said.

"You're doubting already?" I asked. "You trained so hard. I know you can beat him." I cheered her up.

"I lost everyone already." her voice cracked. I felt sad for her, she lost everyone already. And of course I will be gone too if we already saved the kingdom.

"I'm still here..." I gave her a smile. She just smiled and continued eating her chicken. "Well.. we can go to the kingdom tomorrow or whenever you're ready." I smiled at her. But then, I realized.. I'm already running out of time. Can I still go back to my own world?

After eating I let Jisoo rest for a while. She lays down on my lap. I watched her stares above. It seems like she is thinking of something. I played with her hair while watching her beautiful face. I really love this woman..man..or whatever she is.

"I feel so bad." She suddenly spoke. Her eyes became watery.

"Why?" I asked her softly.

"I didn't even saw my friend and my sister died.. I didn't even said my goodbyes to them.." I didn't answered and just listened to her. "I didn't even say sorry to Lisa and thank her for everything not even to my sister." I saw her tear fell from her left eye. I quickly wiped it using my thumb.

"Do you want to say sorry to them and say goodbye?" I asked

"Of course.. but it's too late." She replied.
