Chapter 19

"Daniella! Why have you missed school!" My mother greets me by yelling.

"I just head upstairs before it continues, but she continues talking.

"You were with that boy weren't you!? I don't want to seeing him anymore! Stay away from him!"

I stop dead in my tracks, turning around slowing taking a deep breath in."First of all. He's been there more than you have! You don't even know what's going on in my life anymore! You have no right to tell me to stay away from him!" Tears streaming down my cheeks.

"You've changed ever since he's got here, hes just trouble! I do have a right! You're my daughter!" She shouts back.

I rush to my room stuffing clothing in the bag and preparing my back pack so i could go to school tomorrow as well.

After many hours of being in my room it was finally quiet enough for me to sneak out. As i finally make it out i think about who's place to go to. Before I called Brianna, Ross called me.

"Heyyyy"

"Um hi.." i quietly whisper as the wind blows.

"You okay?" He comments worried.

"U-uh yeah why wouldn't i be?" I giggle lightly. Shit i stuttered.

"Come to my house. See ya later dani" hangs up before i could respond.

I end up listening and going to his house. I knock on the door as he opens it with a bright smile. Until he sees my face expression it fades away. He drags me all the way to his room setting down the bag. "Talk to me." He says with a stern voice, crossing his arms. I tell him the story and his response was "Okay you're staying at my house."

I hesitate,"No no no, i mean i can't."

"Well you are so here, i doubt you brought pajamas so heres my shirt and my sweatpants." Tossing them at me.

I was in and out in the bathroom to change. As i come out, Ross had an empty space left for me. "You sure about this?" I question. He nodds his head, patting the space.

I lay myself down but i start tearing up scared of the darkness. Ross must of heard my whimpers because he pulls me over and starts playing with my hair and rubbing my back to calm me down. As i started drifting off he kisses my head making me fall asleep. Before i was completely out i heard him mumble,"I love you... im glad at least you're my best friend."
