Chapter 22 Christmas Eve/Day

"It's Christmas Eve! It's Christmas Eve!" I jump onto Javier to wake him up.
"Ehhh. Five more minutes."
"I got presentsss." I lean in staring at him. He sighs and gets up but noticing none was in the room.
"Where are they?" He gives me a confused face. I rise up from the spot I was sitting and wrap my arms around him,"Well since your parents Christmas party is later we can go to Ross's place since I have presents for him too."
He narrows his eyes in annoyance, so I turn his face to look straight at me instead of the window. "I love you." I smile. He smiles as well kissing me gently on the lips. Once we part we instantly- or he instantly gets dressed before we start heading over to Ross's house.

I knock on the door before pulled into a tight hug. "Hey I'm so happy you made it!" Rydel squeals. I walk into the living room seeing Brianna next to Riker, Alexa next to Rocky, Rydel next to someone named Ratliff or Ellington, as Ross alone. Their other brother Ryland was still sleeping as their parents eating in the kitchen. Brianna looks at me then Javi giving me a smirk while Ross rolls his eyes. He walks up to me smiling then grabbing my wrist pulling me towards the floor, hugging me after. It wasn't long until Ross and Javi were playing tug of war quietly with me as the rope. While we were exchanging presents Ross starts flirting with me in a way with Javi glaring at him. Rydel rolls her eyes with Alexa and Brianna as Riker Rocky and Ratliff sat in confusion. I didn't want to be rude and he's my best friend so I chirped in.

At about 6:30 me and Javi said our goodbyes and left the Lynch's house. As we were walking out Javier hasn't said a word to me since we got there. "You okay?"
No response. I started getting worried since he hasn't spoke in hours. It was also Christmas Eve, I didn't want things to get worse, I want it to get better. "Are you excited for the party?" I gleamed. No response. I stop him by stepping in front of him,"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." He tried to walk on the other side. "No Javi. Tell me what's wrong." I grab his arm. "Nothing! So just leave it okay!" He snatches his arm away from my grasp walking away. I didn't know what to think, I started to feel my eyes water. No I wasn't going give in. I run over to catch up to him, I smile at him but all I feel was pain.
We made it to his house and it seemed like the party already started. I rush up the stairs to just put his present away so I wouldn't forget. I talked to a couple of his family members, they seemed nice. As I was talking to a family friend named Alicia, I spot Javi and a girl getting really close. "Hey Alicia who's that girl?" I ask nervously. "Hmm- oh her? Another family friend." She responds calmly.
As the night went on I danced with Alicia, stealing glances at Javier and this mystery girl. She was pretty. She had tan skin like me except lighter brown hair and Brazel eyes since they weren't brown but they weren't hazel. I noticed on the clock, 11:56 p.m. So I rushed upstairs getting the present through humongous crowds of people. I make it down right on time. As I was walking toward him, I was just in time for the kiss. Their kiss.

He didn't put much force in pulling away just eyes wide not knowing what to say kind of face, while she smiles. I didn't know what to think. I got more angry since it was Christmas now, and he chapped some other girl. I stomp over to him and throw the present at him, I didn't even noticed my eyes watering but who cares right now. "Merry Christmas! I hope you two enjoy it!"
It was easy for me to exit the door since I was small so I could squeeze through. I didn't want to see him, he hurt me so bad tonight.

~Javi's pov~Short~
As I was just talking to Jasmine, I looked at the clock, 11:59, a minute before twelve. Before I know it, she kissed me. I was in shock I didn't know what to say or how to react. I mean I kissed girls before I was 17, I'm hot, who wouldn't want me. But since I met Daniella I haven't really thought of another girl that way. Before I could even speak I felt a harsh pain on the side of my arm. "Merry Christmas! I hope you too enjoy it!" Daniella runs out of the scene. As Jasmine continued smiling and try pulling me into another kiss I ran after Daniella. It was hard because of all that people, but I spotted Alicia. "Alicia where'd Daniella go!!" I spoke fast. She glared at me shook her head and pointed to the door. "That girl is really crazy for you. I got to know her. You hurt her bad. Shame on you."
I roll my eyes and sped toward the door. It was completely dark as she was gone. Shit.

~Dani's pov~
I don't know how but I kept crying as hard as ever. I just never seemed to run out of tears. My stomach was in a tight knot, my head felt heavy, And my chest tightened. It hurt, but she was super pretty. And I'm just a complete mess. As I was about to collapse from exhaustion a car pulled up. It was dark and my head felt to heavy to look up. "Daniella?" I hear a familiar voice. Riker's. I slowly rise and look at him,"Yeah?" I croaked.
"What happened."
"Stuff." I shrug my shoulders.
He motions his hand for me to get in the car, I do as told. "Where did you come from."
"Brianna's, I just dropped her off."
"You guys are pretty serious, huh." I push through the pain so I could smile. He lightly blushes,"Yeahhh."
"How'd you guys meet?"
That's when he really smiled."Well I saw a beautiful blonde girl on the curb and looked like she was crying. I couldn't just stand there, cause you know I'm good with the ladies," I laugh as he puts a pause "So I got her a hot coco and I guess I fell head over heels for her."
I smiled in awe. My best friend really had an amazing guy by her side, I wish them the best of luck.
As we reached his house, Riker went in first since he had the key. Shit I forgot my stuff. Oh well. As I finally walk in through the door I stop.
"What are you doing here?"
