Chapter 23 The Christmas Nightmare

Gabriella glares at me, as Ross looks at me in surprise. He squeezed through Gabriella rushing over to me,"What happened."
"I found her walking, crying her eyes out." Riker answers.
The whole time they were discussing I stood there quietly. I was ruining their Christmas. "Guys I'm just going to go." I turn to leave but I felt a gentle grasp on my wrist. "No you're staying." Gabriella rolls her eyes and charges towards me, pushing me into the floor. "You little bitch! You ruin everything! Get yourself out! You're ruining everyone's Christmas! Goddamn! They're just trying to be nice but I'll speak for them! LEAVE!"
I rise up and rush out of the door, crying once more. To make it worse I run into Javier. "Daniella!"
I shook myself out of his grasp,"How could you!" Still crying. I was breaking down.
"I didn't mean anything! She kissed me-"
"You didn't pull away!" Ross and his siblings came out onto the porch to watch.
"I was in shock! Plus I wouldn't doubt if you cheated on me with Ross." Giving me an attitude.
"You're kidding right. He's my best friend! It's Christmas oh my god. Wow. I don't cheat. You know what leave me alone Javier. We aren't even dating! I don't even matter! You probably see me as one of your other girls."
I see Rydel pushing people inside, as I hear her muffled voice,"Come on let's give them privacy." As I sneak a peak at what was going on Ross had the most worried expression plastered on his face.
"Daniella you're the only girl I've felt this way for. You do matter to me." I felt his voice soften.
"Javi why... on Christmas too... Why..." my eyes soft. He cautiously moves forward, wiping away tears. "I'm so sorry." He hugs me so tightly. I couldn't say it's okay, I just stood quiet. But I had to go back to his house to fix it. I just couldn't leave it broken. I walked toward the Lynch's house and told them I was going back to fix it up. Everyone nodded but Ross pulled me into a big tight hug. I was shocked as everyone else was,"Call me if anything happens." He finally lets go.
"Okay." I give him a weak smile to assure him everything was alright.

We reach Javi's house and I enter the house along side with him. The girl walks up to Javier,"Hey, let's continue."
"No Jasmine, I'm not into you that way." He pushes through and we made it to his room. I just sat there quietly- well kind of, I pulled my knees toward my chest. I wanted to cry, I wouldn't blame if he just wanted to get rid of me. It was quiet for moments until I broke it. "Javi I love you. But everything's changed. Can I just take a couple days break away."
His head quickly jerks up, shaking it,"No. I can't be away from you that long. No. I said I was sorry. please Daniella."
"Javier if I don't this chance of an us will be destroyed. Just because you said sorry doesn't mean I forget it happened. It doesn't work that way."
I felt myself tearing up but I pushed through making it pass through. "Daniella please don't go."
"I have to." I grab my stuff and start heading for the door.
"Can I kiss you... As a goodbye. Because I don't know how long you'll be gone. And I want to end it on a little good note." He whispers.
I nod as he slowly grabs my cheeks and brings me close. The kiss was slow and passionate, I accidentally let a tear slip out as he pulled me even closer. When we finally pulled away I tried my best not to cry, it hurt to part with him but I need time away.
"Goodbye." He whispers. I couldn't tell if he was about to cry or not, I wouldn't dare to look up, it was to painful.
"Bye Javi." I squeeze his hand, then rushing out of the room. If only it never happened, I could still enjoy being with him. But no, things happen for a reason. No one noticed me since they were all crowed and in their little groups. As I turn to look at the stairs I noticed Jasmine walking up into the direction to Javier's room. I was about to bawl my eyes out right there, so I rush out. I take shaky breaths, once I exit the house. I quickly dial Rydel's number.
"Hey Dani wassup?"
"Hey Delly. Can I stay over for a couple of days." I ask quietly.
"Yeah of course, see you soon girly." She kindly responds.
I hang up and start heading towards her house, wiping my face every second because of the tears staining my cheeks.

She squeezes my hand as she left through the door,closing it behind her. "Dammit!" I punch my wall,"On Christmas! Fucking hell."
God I wanted to destroy my room, I had so much anger, but I was mostly upset. The face she had stamped on her face killed me. I can't believe I was the one to make her cry, when I was the one who wanted to protect her. The door opened so suddenly, hoping it was Daniella coming back. It wasn't a surprise that it wasn't, I knew she wouldn't want to. Instead it was the reason I got into this mess, Jasmine.
