I didn't see her the rest of the day, after 5th period I had 6th period empty so I decided to take that time to look through Kaylen's year book. I just needed to see her face, I just needed to know her name, I just needed something, anything at all to determine what my next move would be. After what seemed like forever I found her. Even in her year book photo she didn't seem to be looking directly at the camera. Her whole demeanor lacked self confidence, but you could tell she was strong. Her hair was tucked behind her ears and her gaze to side really showcased her beautifully long eyelashes. Melody Marigold it read under her picture. Marigold, I thought to myself I knew that was a name of a flower but I knew it was the name of something else as well. I decided to search it up, after a few scrolls I realized why I recognized that name. Marigold was a band that formed in Brooklyn, they weren't famous but they were quite popular in the alternative genre. Interesting I thought to myself but before I could analyze the information before me Eric called my name. "YO KAISER!!" He yelled from across the library with no regard to the fact that we were in the library. I motioned for him to come over after he was shushed by almost every person. "You ready for practice?" he said when he finally made his way over. "Yeah I'm coming" I responded and with that project time was over.
