That night as I was trying to sleep I kept having a bad feeling that Melody was in danger. I don't know what made me have this feeling. In fact today was the most pleasant attitude she has given me since we started the project. I flip over and my alarm clock reads 3am. Frustrated I got up to go for a run, as I approached the pond my heart sank to my stomach. There she was, Melody. I ran over as fast as I could she laid on the bench almost lifeless, when I reached the bench I didn't know if she was sleeping or passed out. I decided the best thing to do would be to wake her, when she finally woke up and acted per usual I relaxed a bit. We sat in silence for a few minutes and as she got up to leave I said "what are you doing tomorrow?" She didn't look back before saying "why?" "Just answer the question" I said. "I work tomorrow" she finally said, "let's meet tomorrow when you're off work but not here" I said. "Were still not friends" she said back, "it's for the project" I responded, "fine, where do you want me to meet you?" She said after a few minutes. "At the Brooklyn bridge" I said, she rolled her eyes "fine, this better be related to the project" she said. And with that she walked away.
