When I got home fear had suddenly taken over me. In the living room everyone was passed out drunk except for Derek. I was fearful of this moment resurfacing. But how could I be surprised. Something good is always followed by something bad. I tried to remain composed as Derek stood up pocket knife in hand approaching me slowly I tried to run but I tripped on the rug. "Please" I begged when I was around Derek it was the only time I ever begged for mercy. "Please leave me alone" I said trying to move away but he had bent down and grabbed me by the ankle. He was too strong. "Shhh" he said holding the knife to my throat. I squirmed under his grip, he grabbed my hand and made a superficial cut on my hand. "Let that be a warning" he said. Looking me in the eyes now "the quieter you are the sooner it will be over" he said with an evil grin. To my relief someone had awaken on the furniture to throw up Derek quickly stood up and walked over to the coach. My breathing became heavy. I laid on the cold hard ground for a moment before crawling to my room. Bad things will only continue to happen to me.
