What do I love more than anything? "That's simple, my dad" I answered. She didn't say anything so I said "don't you want to know why?" "No, but I suppose Miss Mallory would like more in depth description" she answered. I chuckled "Because he was the most honest person I've ever met. A lot like you." I said. "Like me? You don't even know me." She said "but I do, it's something you just know" I responded. Sensing her discomfort I flipped the question. "What do you love more than anything?" "Baking" she responded simply. "What makes you love baking?" I asked. "Because I'm good at it" she added. I knew that wasn't the real reason there was more to it but if she told me I would actually be getting to know her and she didn't want that. "Is that what you do?" I asked instead. "What?" She said looking genuinely confused. "You said you work right? Is that what you do as your job?" I asked. "Yes" she answered hesitantly. She got up right after and said "I think we've made enough progress for today" and with that she gathered her things and walked away.
