You see me as a jewel,
Sparkling with the sun,
Left on the garden
That has place for no oneYou think I'm exquisite,
Lying by that desert beach,
Laughing and ruining
Everything supposed to be meYet, I'm not.
You think I'm pretty good,
Lots of years of daydreams,
Wishes and thoughts,
Everything locked inThey think I'm rich and full
That I get crazy for no reason,
I got secrets and magic boxes
So closed as my jars of freedomThose beautiful cages.
If I was rich, had a house,
I would carry you home.
We'd make our promises
Nevermore aloneIf I could face the universe
I would turn upside down
Although I don't have any power
And don't expect it to change at allBut when you come over,
I dress up, see the world:
Glimmering and raining
For my All Mighty loveI think I don't have enough,
But then you come to my mind:
Dancing, laughing with me.
Every time, the best partThat was freedom.
And when you finally call,
I put your sweater on.
Think about what I could do
But I don'tWishes and mermaids,
The last time I touched your hair,
How we used to dance at 9 AM,
Like we just didn't careHappiness, that's all.
You see me as a jewel,
Sparkling with the sun.
Just a silly beauty stone,
The one that you ownThat's just a dream,
A memento for my eyes.
Waiting just for you
To open up my skiesWhen I get close to you,
When I can reach the stars,
I'll come as a summer breeze,
I'll never leave you in the darkJust stand there
As your only dream
Paradise.
