A/N - Super long chapter today, enjoy :)

The car ride was practically silent, other than the radio playing all too perky music for the way we felt, I had to turn it off halfway through the drive.

When we got to the YouTube offices we had to run to our conference room. The people we were meeting were waiting for us when we got there.

“I’m so sorry we’re late” Lori apologized as we walked in
“Yeah, we have some friends that are leaving for a very long time and we had to say goodbye” Violet explained.
“Where’s Sam?” our manager asked me
“She’s not feeling too good,” I lied “She’s been throwing up all night. I made her stay at home because I didn’t want her to make anybody else ill”

The meeting got started. It was about advertising, there wasn’t a lot we understood and we didn’t really have any need to be there other than the fact that it was a legal requirement. That made the whole thing a lot more unbearable because there was so much more I wanted to be doing right at this moment in time.

I could be saying goodbye to my best friends at the airport. And what about Sam. She’s going to have to drive back to the house alone. That’s going to be the saddest car journey ever.

I leaned toward my manager, James, discretely,

“I know this is going to sound really cheeky and rude” I whispered “But is there any chance you could get us out of here as fast as humanly possible”
“Why?” he whispered back
“Sam’s not ill”
“I know she isn’t. I just wanted to see how long it would take for you to tell me. She’s saying goodbye to 5SOS at the airport isn’t she”
“How did you know that”
“I knew they were leaving today before they did, their management is terrible at time planning, there’s no way they were going to be able to get to LA and get all of the stuff done that they had planned in the amount of time they were given”
“So can you get us out or not?”

James moved away from me and cleared his throat,

“Excuse me” he interrupted the woman who was talking “I don’t mean to be rude but my clients have a prior engagement I completely forgot about. They are comfortable with me staying for the meeting but they need to go”

The woman nodded at him and I looked over at Violet and Lori who had looks of pure shock on their faces. We stood up and calmly walked out.

When we were out of the room,

We ran.

We ran as fast as we possibly could, down to my car, we jumped in as I started it up. The time was 12pm.

“Back to the house?!” Lori questioned
“No, they’ll have left already” Violet explained
“Airport?” Lori was panicking
“Airport!” Yelled Violet and I pulled away and drove to the airport quickly.

The car drive was lots of yelling to go faster and cursing at cars that were going slowly. We pulled into the car park and Violet pointed out Sam’s car loudly. I had barely parked before we were out of the doors and running into the airport. Lori was calling Sam, Violet was calling Calum and I was just frantically looking around for any sign of red hair, a bandana, a lip ring and a blond streak.

We ran around the airport, getting some odd looks from strangers when I spotted a maroon snapback at a check in desk,

“LUKE!” I screamed and he turned, his eyes widened and he screamed back,
“ADDISON!” I ran over to him and held him tight

I didn’t want to let him go, he placed me down and looked me in the eyes.

“But your meeting?”
“I got out of it”
“For us?”
“Of course for you guys. Where are the others?”
“They’re on a phone call over there” he pointed in the direction of the others, Lori and Vi were already there.
