“What?”
“I’ve been waiting for you to get angry with him. I’ve had a plan in my mind for a couple of days and now I can put it into action”
“Explain”
“Dresses. Lots and lots of short dresses and heels. Make-up and hair. And we’re going to get your nose pierced”
“WHAT?!”
“We’re going to exploit his already given love for you, by ‘accentuating’ your natural beauty with butt and boob enhancing dresses”
“I still don’t understand the point of this”
“We’re going to make him jealous Addison. We’re going to make him practically drool over you so he realises that she isn’t right for him”
“I like it”
Lori and I decided to go out shopping right there and then. But before we did, she knocked on the girls’ door.
“Adi’s a little angry, I feel like the plan is now necessary.” Was all Lori said and Violet and Sam had huge smiles plastered across their faces. I felt like Lori had told them about it already, which made me smile. We go out of the hotel quickly and walked down to the nearest mall.
We spent a few hours finding clothes. We got a range of tops and dresses and skirts and shorts. I wasn’t really comfortable with some of the stuff they were picking out, it was all so short and I liked to wear oversized jumpers and ripped jeans. But if it meant getting revenge on that bitch, Emily, I was in.
Once we had everything I suggested going to get something to eat. Lori just smirked at me and dragged me across the mall to a piercing bar. I yelled at her and begged her not to make me go in but I got pushed and shoved.
Once I was inside the people were really nice to me, they showed me pictures of people who had already had their noses pierced and it looked so good. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off but the girls pushed me into the seat and within seconds, I had a needle through my nose, then I had a hoop. I wasn’t expecting it to hurt as much as it did but eventually the pain eased.
I looked in one of the mirrors and no word of a lie, I looked good.
When we got back to the hotel it was late so we all went straight to bed. I was ready for tomorrow. I was ready to prove that I was no little joke and I was not about to be taken for some kind of fool that would back down and whimper at the mere thought of her. She made me so angry and I was ready to let that anger out.
Emily wanted to play? Okay then, let’s play.
