I awoke suddenly to a loud banging. I jerked my head upward and so did Lori. She frowned at me and I groggily got out of my bed, it was the door.

I pulled it open with a tired expression on my face, Jake, plus camera. He had a perky expression on his face until he saw me.

“Dude!” he yelled, stepping into the room as I walked back to my bed, “The party?!”

I collapsed onto my bed and he looked over at Lori.

“You too?” he sighed
“Not today thanks Jake” she rolled over. I felt a little bad for him, he wanted to go to the party and the people he was planning to go with just said no.

That was until, what he did next.

“Get up” he said.

I didn’t answer,

“If you don’t get up now I swear” we still both ignored him.

“Right, that’s it” he kicked off his shoes and jumped onto my bed, jumping up and down until I was laughing and very awake.

“Okay, okay, I’m awake what do you want?” I complained as he moved over to Lori to do the same

“I want you guys to come to the party” he complained. I sighed and thought for a second. I was going to regret it if I didn’t. I stood up and walked over to the door that joined rooms 224 and 226 together.

I yanked it open and ran into the room, turned on all the lights, jumped up and down on Sam’s bed and screamed that there was a fire in my room.

She didn’t fall for it of course but she was awake, as was Violet.

“Party” I said, dropping myself down onto Sam’s bed
“Who’s going?” Vi asked
“YouTubers”
“I’m in” she said.

And just like that, Jake was outside of the rooms and we were getting changed for the party. Nothing that formal but nothing super casual. I decided on a skirt and cropped top because LA was hot. I pulled on a pair of pattern tights and chunky, heeled boots. I plaited my hair.

The others got changed into something similar and we all walked down to the function room with our cameras, we were all vlogging the event.

When we got to the room, the lights were dimmed and there was very loud music, people had drinks in their hands and there was chatter and laughing coming from every direction.

“This is so cool” I smiled as two girls ran up to me,
“Addison right?” one of them put her hand out, I widened my eyes so I could see her face better,
“Hollie? Jenny?” I asked and they nodded, “Oh my god! Hi!” I said excitedly and went straight in for a hug, they hugged me back
“We’ve wanted to meet you forever!” Jenny laughed
“Oh my god me too” I couldn’t wipe the smile off of my face. They both pulled out their cameras and turned them on,
“Look who we found!” Hollie cried and turned the camera on me, I turned around and looked around the room a little, pretending I thought they were talking about someone else, I turned back to the cameras and gasped,
“Oh, me!” I cried and laughed, I pulled out my camera and did the same. We talked to each other about our journeys there and people we had already met. I told them I still had a video to edit so I could upload this week and they thought it was funny that I was so unprepared.

Eventually they left and I walked around the party, I saw so many people that I knew from their channels and I said hi. I was welcomed with hugs and high fives and “Oh my gosh, you’re Adi right?” I liked to reply with “I’m Not Adi” seeing as that was the name of my channel, they always laughed, probably out of pity because of my sad, overused joke.
