Chapter 24: I Found You

WEI WUXIAN LOOK AWAY IN DISBELIEF, he thinks the situation is too complicated. Despite the efforts of Lan Wangji to explained clearly about the situation, he still can't understand what is happening and why this Ashley left them in a weird state.

He knew to himself that Lan Wangji's behavior now is new to him, when he talked about the girl...he saw guilt in his eyes...as if something happened between them.

Strange...it is indeed get complicated when I came back... he thought. Wei Wuxian stood and went back towards the bed. Unable to grasp the situation clearly.

Lan Wangji silently watch Wei Wuxian lay in bed and thought about the events, now Wei Wuxian is back...his heart throb and memories of 16 years ago flooded him.

Now his back...I can't let him go... he thought and stood in his sit - walking towards the bed and realized Wei Wuxian fell asleep.

He sat beside the bed and watch the sleeping figure, longing he felt and his heart deeply throb at the thought of two person in his mind.

Realizing his face closer to his, Lan Wangji paused and pull away. He suddenly realized what he was doing and felt the guilt in doing it.

Yet, watching the sleeping figure's lip entranced him, soft and pliable lips formed in the figure's face overwhelmed him with lust.

As his restrained lose its defenses and couldn't hold it any longer, his face leaned once again to the sleeping figure,

Where his lips pecked Wei Wuxian's soft lips, Lan Wangji's eyes widen when he felt the sting sensation all over his body.

16 years I waited...16 years... he repeatedly chant in his head, Lan Wangji felt human once again and this stolen kiss happened before in The Phoenix Mountain.

Wei Wuxian felt the need and slowly raised both arms wrapped around his neck - closing both eyes and kissed back, Lan Wangji's eyes widen and realized him awake - pulled away in embarrassment.

Wei Wuxian realized what happened, felt a sting of guilt from what he did. He realized how Lan Wangji is the role model of his clan and everything is crushed because of him...The Yiling Laozu...the nobody who admired and hated...a madman in a society he is considered in the past.

"HanGuang-Jun I-I..." apologizing won't event help for him at all, Wei Wuxian look down and continued, "I-I don't know what I was doing...S-S...Sorry..." Lan Wangji stared and realized what he meant, he is not a fool either.

His heart throbbed every time the memories of the past flooded to him. He realized Wei Wuxian is still blind in everything...even what he is feeling towards him.

It took a moment for him to answer and at last he replied, "Wei Ying...It's not your fault...it was mine..."

Wei Wuxian's face became pale while tears starting to fall down between his eyes, "Lan Zhan...It's me...I shouldn't do that to you...I-I don't know why you are weird all of the sudden...I don't know if it's because of her or hmph! What am I talking about? Lan Zhan...forget what I said....I am not drinking vinegar okay? It's just that...it's complicated...I don't know...I..."

Lan Wangji understood what he meant and suddenly pinned him against the bed, His eyes widen of Lan Wangji's sudden movement.

He never knew how dumb he was to realized, Lan Wangji's stares locked his. Two hearts beat the same, the room became hot while a minute passed - both arms pinned by him, Wei Wuxian felt no longer confused and chuckled.

"HanGuang-Jun oh HanGuang-Jun! A role model of his own clan...I just vent my feelings out...why pinning me?" He didn't listened and start to lean closer.

Wei Wuxian's cheeks burned as Lan Wangji's face gets closer to him, both lips almost touched. He felt the sting of momentum pulling between them

"H-HanGuang-Jun??" Wei Wuxian called but he didn't reply, it took a moment for him to finally connect his lips to Wei Wuxian.

His eyes widen, he no longer have a guts to tease him...this scene...lips connected...his heart throb and remember the memories of his younger self teasing the young Lan Wangji in the past and now here they are, finally kissed like nothing happened to them.

Unable to resist the person's contact, Wei Wuxian wrapped his both arms around his neck once again - kissing back intimately.

The kiss starts in awkward state, but turns passionate when Wei Wuxian respond. It took a minute for them to pull away and sink the events that happened between them. Lan Wangji couldn't believe he kissed him...16 years passed and he finally expressed what he feel to him...

But...does he feel the same?

"W-Wha..." Wei Wuxian stared in disbelief, his eyes couldn't look away at him while Lan Wangji felt the same. "Lan Zhan...you kissed me...does that...I..."

"Goodnight..." Lan Zhan interrupt and walk towards his table - his eyes are already closed and sleep while Wei Wuxian left dumbfounded of what just happened.

Damn...did I hurt him again?? He thought the kiss for the whole night and ended up astray and couldn't sleep.

Morning came and the disciples of GusuLan Sect went out early while Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are left behind.

Finally asleep after recounting what happened last night, Lan Wangji let him sleep until he woke up in the afternoon. Famished and thirsty, Lan Wangji treat Wei Wuxian in a Chinese food house beside the inn they booked.

Silence occur between them, it is the first time Wei Wuxian didn't spoke for the whole day and seems Lan Wangji felt deeply worried. Even returning to the inn, he hasn't even let out a word and this bothers him. Wei Wuxian seem speechless and unable to create a conversation with Lan Wangji easily...he felt the embarrassment and blush burning in his both cheeks. After an hour of silence, Wei Wuxian shook when Lan Wangji is the first one to engage in a conversation.

"Wei Ying...where do you want to go?" he asked.

"Ah...I have no idea...where are your youngsters?" Wei Wuxian replied.

"I've sent them to investigate supernatural killings in the Mountains..."

Wei Wuxian gasped, "wait...what?! Would they handle the situation there?"

"Mm." He replied.

Wei Wuxian doubted, the mountains are far and dangerous. He remembered the time where Lan Wangji, Nie Huiasang and he arrive in the same place. Although, they've been attacked by some rage puppets who's not in control by him. He became very worried, if those puppets still existed 16 years later, then those youngsters would be in danger. Damn, I know why I'm worried... he thought only to find himself shivered.

Lan Wangji noticed his expression, he can't resist himself whenever Wei Wuxian felt something. He felt the same way as him, only him... Lan Wangji stared at him and leaned to hold his wrist, Wei Wuxian tensed in his sudden move.

It only took a minute before Lan Wangji spoke, "If you want...we can follow them..."
