Chapter 35: Unravel

THE RUMORED HUMAN EATING BUNKER is in fact a scary and errie. Wei WuXian and Lan Wangji went inside alongside with Nie Huaisang, as they enter, they saw four Nie Clan guards fixing bricks in the wall all around the bunker. Lan Wangji stood beside Nie while Wei WuXian walk around.

His interest peak when he noticed 4 coffins in front of them. Wei WuXian caress the structure cover of the coffin and thought, The spirit cognition of the sword isn't responding...yet it reacted when we went here...could it be it's not here?

"Strange..." Wei WuXian commented.

Nie Huaisang raised an eyebrow, "How strange?"

Wei WuXian ignore his question and walk towards Lan Wangji,"Eh Lan Zhan...the spirit cognition of the sword didn't react when we enter inside of this bunker...could it be it's connecting to something?" he asked.

"I notice it as well." Lan Wangji replied.

Nie Huaisang walk towards them, "Seniors, what is happening? What do you mean spirit cognition of the sword?"

Wei WuXian gaze at him, "Do you want to know?" Nie Huaisang nod at him.

He stretch his both arms and sigh deeply, "Well, we are investigating this thing with us." He showed the spirit cognition of the sword to him, where the object is inside a bluish mini bag.

"This thing, may connect the dots to know how you Da-ge died." He added. Nie Huaisang's eyes widen.

They never knew he witnessed that night, where the thunder roared aggressively. Nie stood while witnessing his brother's unknown suffering and slowly watching he died. Like someone killing him supernaturally. The feeling of losing someone is a first to him, they way his heart clutched whenever the memories of that night flooded him.

Nie Huaisang's eyes redden and was about to cry. But, he hold his almost weeping eyes and replied, "D-Da-ge? Please say more about it, I think I can help you."

Wei Wuxian raise an eyebrow, "Calm down...Eh, Lan Zhan, can we brought him along?"

"Mn." He replied, Wei WuXian take it as a yes. Nie Huaisang smiled and replied, "Thank you so much, before we start on our next journey, I should let you come into my Clan. I owe you two a favor."

"Oh right! That sounds great!" Wei WuXian replied.

Suddenly, a bluish light appear out of nowhere. Lan Wangji knew what it was, run towards it and reach the object floating in front of them. Wei WuXian realized, it was a letter from Gusu

"Lan Zhan, is that from ZeWu Jun?" he asked. Lan Wangji turn around and nod, "My brother send me an urgent letter to come back to Gusu quickly."

Nie Huaisang raise an eyebrow, "Eh? Why?"

Lan Wangji, "Ashley and Zewu Jun brought a guest that can help us in our investigation."

Wei WuXian smiled and replied, "Oh? Well then let's go!"

He stared at Nie Huaisang, "Hey Nie, we can go in your clan after we go to Gusu. So, let's go."

Nie Huaisang smiled. "It's been a while since I go there, tell me, did the rules increased?"

Lan Wangji replied, "It is." He walk out of the scene and Wei WuXian followed him alongside with Nie Huaisang, who is there new partner in investigating the case.

Back to the city, Wei WuXian alongside with Lan Wangji and Nie Huaisang ate at the Winehouse near the inn. Nie Huaisang and Wei WuXian converse all day while Lan Wangji watch them closely.

He is indeed an introvert, but 16 years passed, he change almost a little. For he will do anything for his Wei Ying, now he is back...he will never let him go.
