"EH LAN ZHAN! WAIT FOR ME!" Wei WuXian exclaimed while following Lan Wangji towards the bunker. As they reach early than Ashley and ZeWu Jun, the two discovered that the bunker is known to the locals as the "Human eating bunker" wherein mostly thieves are attempting to get inside for they assume there are gold, but, a few days later, they're disappear out of nowhere.

Wei WuXian realized Ashley is right this time, the bunker is their only clue wherein the sword is pertaining to. He ask himself whether the evil spirit emerging from this sword might be really Nie Mingjue.

Yet, with Ashley helping them out, it could be easy to solve things. But sometimes, Ashley didn't reveal bits of it and he thought about her as a cliffhanger.

As they reach the bunker, the two hid and expectedly saw Jin Ling with his dog wandering around the area. Damn! Will this brat able to not bring that dog??? He deeply thought. Wei Wuxian is always been afraid of dogs ever since his childhood days, he remember in order to survive in the streets, he need to fend himself from those wandering dogs.

Wei WuXian silently hid behind Lan Wangji, to him, he is no surprise he will act this way. He knew all along that Wei WuXian is scared of dogs. In the past, Nie Huaisang brought a little dog in Cloud Recesses, since the law of the place is no pets allowed, they kept it outside. He found out Wei Ying's fear when he saw him silently hid above the tree.

To prevent Jin Ling in danger, Lan Wangji is the first to step out and block Jin Ling's way. "H-HanGuang-Jun? And you...?" Jin Ling exclaimed. Wei WuXian – wore a mask to hide his identity from him – smirked, "Eh, did your uncle told you not to go in such dangerous place such as this?" he hissed.

Jin Ling replied, "Eh? Why do you care?"

"This bunker is not safe, evil spirits are roaming in...." Lan Wangji replied.

Jin Ling knew how Lan Wangji is respected among the cultivators, he never knew how much he can't take and he respect him.

He replied, "Then, what shall we do?"

"Follow us and let's go back, your uncle might beaten you to death." Wei WuXian replied.

Jin Ling, "I know, you must be Wei WuXian?"

Wei WuXian's eyes widen, "Eh? How did you know??"

"I was testing you..." Jin Ling replied, he slowly clutched the sword beside him.

"Let's go." Lan Wangji spoke as the three of them went out of the entrance, before they could, Lan Wangji notice a figure spying on them. In a sudden, he sheathe his Bichen and aim the sword to the intruder. Yet, the intruder escaped.

"Damn! Who is that?" Wei WuXian exclaimed.

Lan Wangji replied, "Don't know..."

"Aiya! Check if there is any clue." Wei WuXian exclaimed.

Lan Wangji nodded and flew towards the place where his Bichen aimed and noticed a slice of cloth in the ground. Jin Ling shook his head and watch Lan Wangji go back to them and showed the object.

"A cloth? But who?" he asked.

Ashley and ZeWu Jun walk towards the city, after a long walk, they rest in a wine house. The two felt awkward and none of them have a guts to initiate a conversation. Lan XiChen ordered a half spicy food and half sweet ones for he knew how much Ashley loves it, He deeply considered it as his debt from what he unexpectedly did to her.

Almost leaned faces, Lan XiChen couldn't handle and attempt to lean closely to her soft lips, but out of retraint, he is the one who pull away.
