Chapter 31: Fake Protagonist

WEI WUXIAN AND THE OTHERS went inside the temple where the possessed sword lingered, two junior cultivators are injured. Ashley went straight to the injured juniors and aid them alongside with ZeWu Jun outside of the temple while Lan Wangji and Wei WuXian is in charge inside.

Wei WuXian used a talisman to seal the temple for a period of time, while outside, Ashley and ZeWu Jun went inside the Jingshi. Lan SiZhui gathered some medical herbs and other stuff, while Ashley aid the injured cultivators in a occupied bed to let them rest,

She spoke, "ZeWu Jun, their injuries are minor. They're been stab by the sword itself, at least, we can calm their spirit and temperament by playing a calm music."

ZeWu Jun nod and position himself using his xiao, Liebing while Ashley does the same by pulling out the flute he gave her. When he saw the flute, he softly smile...by that, his heart soften, sentiment is what he believe that love is eternal, to him, he admittedly find Ashley interesting...or perhaps, he slowly fancy her.

The two start to play the tune, they're able to calm the two injured cultivator's spirit. And to that, Lan XiChen deeply began to consider Ashley as newfound confidant. After an hour of playing a calm music to ease the pain of the injured cultivators, Ashley and ZeWu Jun went out of the Jingshi.

He gaze at Ashley, who is staring in the river of Cloud Recesses, "I never knew you're skilled in aiding injured. "

She chuckled, "In my place, I join a club where I learn some variety of first aid. I usually joined every once a week...but, I stop because I need to focus my studies."

"Very well, I admit, I fancy you." He replied.

Ashley, "eh?"

Lan XiChen, "You changed, I notice how you handle the situation well. Even facing my brother after 6 years."

"Well, I realized that if you love someone, you must let that person go if he loves someone else. After all, why should I need to waste my time effortlessly make some weird stuff to make him like me? I knew to myself, that I deserve better." She replied.

"Very well..." He replied, Ashley began to think, wait...shiya, does he literally like me? Like likey likey? This is weird... she deeply thought.

The sword stood itself, dark energy surrounding it. Wei WuXian and Lan Wangji decide to play a music to calm the possessed object. The possessed sword is from the Mo Mansion, Wei WuXian began to suspect that Ashley might be right, something is off. Everything is seems to be fast, but not for long for she is back.

"Lan Zhan! I finally get it!" he exclaimed, Wei WuXian create a talisman to seal the possessed sword and calm its temperament. The sword finally calm, Lan SiZhui and the other cultivators stood in front of the sword while Wei WuXian shook his head.

"This is odd, the sword is possessed somehow by some bits of the Yin Iron, I never knew someone can obtain that object alone...not without some assistance who really know about it. Eh, Lan Zhan." He stared at Lan Wangji.

He added, "Call Ash and ZeWu Jun, maybe she know something about it." \

"Mn." Lan Wangji walk outside to find Ashley and ZeWu Jun. In the other hand, Wei WuXian deeply examine the sword and suddenly it point in a direction where he couldn't understand.

He commented, "Interesting, the sword is not even standing straight."

Ashley and ZeWu Jun went to the river at the back of Cloud Recesses, the two sat with the rabbits who are living secretly behind the bushes. Ashley miss this part of Cloud Recesses, because she can't even a buy one for herself in her time. ZeWu Jun notice Ashley's fascination to the rabbits, "Have you any adopt any pets in your place?"
