Chapter 27: I Found You

"YOU!" EXCLAIM THE ALREADY FURIOUS JIANG CHENG with his zidian clutching tightly. Wei Wuxian hesitately walk towards Wen Ning, blocking his attempt of attack. Jiang Cheng gritted his teeth in anger, he can't believe after 16 year... Wen Ning the Ghost General will be alive.

Before he could manage to attack Wen Ning, the alive statue is still on the loose. Shit...this statue needs to destroy at once before that puppet!
Wei Wuxian let out a sigh and held his flute towards his lips to order Wen Ning.

Wen Ning obediently follow Wei Wuxian's command and use his ability to attack he statue, breaking the statue's two hands. Everyone stare in awe in Wen Ning'w ability, lowering their guard down.

Jiang Cheng on the other hand, stare in defeat when Wen Ning manage to slay the statue himself. He couldn't resist his anger once more as memories of the past hunting him.

"YO-!" He exclaim before his clutch of his zidian aim Wen Ning, a melody from Wei Wuxian's flute stop in his tracks and defeatedly watch Wen Ning fled the scene.

Wei Wuxian on the other hand, feared on Jiang Cheng's zidian so he trty to escape. But fail when Jiang Cheng's zidian uphold him, causing Wei Wuxian fell on the ground.

It is indeed true that Jiang Cheng's zidian in his clutch was from his last Mother, Madam Yu. The essence of his whip is to eliminate evil spirits even Wei Wuxian himself feared he would let go of his newfound vessel.

"Ahhhhh!!!" Wei Wuxian exclaim when the whip from Jiang Cheng's grasp hit his back, his body fell down. Lan Wangji widen his eyes and knell towards Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian thought his time has come, yet when he opened his both eyes. He is still in Mo Xuanyu's body, I knew the body sacrificial ritual has benefits after all... he thought while Lan Wangji pull Wei Wuxian to stand.

Jiang Cheng's eyes widen when he realized his zidian didn't work on him. Lan Sizhui on the other hand widen his eyes, the scene is interesting... and he couldn't believe that this lunatic in front of him is the Yiling Patriarch.

Wei Wuxian's body became numb, due to his weaken state, his eyes gaze on the night sky wherein himself could felt the heaviness of his body. Lan Wanji became aware of his state and suddenly wrap his one arm around his waist.

Before his eyes became heavy and fell unconscious.

"Senior M-errr Wei!" exclaimed Jingyi and Sizhui while they run towards Lan Wangji, where he held Wei Ying's unconscious body.

Jiang Cheng on the other hand, couldn't care less and turn around to meet his guards, "Find Jin Ling and tell him to meet me in the boat... we're going back!"

"Understood!" exclaim the guards and follow Jiang Cheng behind while the other guards went another path to find his nephew, Jin Ling.

Lan Wangji brought Wei Ying's unconscious body in a bridal style. Lan Sizhui spoke, "HanGuang-Jun, where shall we bring him?"
