"Who is that?" Asked Andrew Archibald from where he stood on the casino floor watching a blonde in a red dress descend the stairs, he stood next to his brother who's eyes were caught on her too,
"I've never seen her before," Said Samuel Archibald, "Holy shit there are two of them," A girl with dark hair kissed either of the blonde's cheeks,
"But the blonde, look at her," Said Andrew, as she bumped into someone and apologized, clearly taking full responsibility. "She has a way with people."
"You can have her." Said Samuel as the pair took drinks from the waiters circling the casino with champagne,
Andrew followed the blonde to the blackjack table, he sat down in the seat next to her, she smelt of honey and when she turned to face him, his breath caught in his throat she had the most beautiful pair of golden eyes,
She turned back to the dealer, who put the cards in front of her,
"5,000 on the line," Said the dealer,
"Hit me," She said, her neat British accent was so perfect, it was a risk she was already at fifteen, and as luck would have it she got a six and she smiled as she was handed the five thousand dollar chip,
"Well done," said the dealer, "Not many people would take a risk like that,"
"I like to take risks, bigger the risk, bigger the pay off," She said, flipping the chip into her hand.
"Would you like to play, sir?" Asked the dealer, he was a little distracted by her perfect golden eyes,
"Would you like a drink, sir?" She asked, and he came back into himself and she chuckled, "My god, I think you are staring at me,"
"Oh, sorry," He said his American accent so unrefined in comparison to her perfect voice,
"Don't be sorry, I like to be admired." She said, and he let out a breath,
"Can I buy you a drink?" He asked,
"I already have a drink." She said raising the glass to her lips,
"Can I buy you another then?" Asked Andrew, and she arched an eyebrow,
"And whyever would you do such a thing?" She asked,
"Because I want to." He said,
"Then why would I let you?" She asked, "I don't even know your name."
"My name is Andrew,"
"Alright, Andrew, I am going to let you buy me a drink." She said, she then stood up and gestured for him to follow her, he caught up quickly as they headed to the bar, "What is your most expensive drink?"
He was going to get frustrated at her but then she shot him a smile,
"Give her a double," Said Andrew taking the barstool next to her,
"Sure, Mister Archibald," Said the bartender,
"So, Andrew what are you doing here?" She asked, as the bartender poured her a scotch,
"Gambling," He said,
"You could do that anywhere, what are you doing in this casino?" She asked,
"Maybe I knew I would meet a beautiful girl tonight," He said, as she drank her scotch, he was impressed when she did it effortlessly as though the burn was a distant memory,
"You do like to flatter me," Said the girl, her fingertips circling the rim of her glass, "But you are a regular aren't you?"
"How did yo- the bartender." Said Andrew,
