Genevieve's POV

I stared at my phone extremely confused. I turned to look at the men behind me, "You guys know my brothers?"

They looked at each other before turning back to me. Harrison stroked his chin thoughtfully, "Honestly he does look familiar but I don't know about your other brother."

"They are identical twins. You see one, you see the other." I said with a shrug.

Julius broke in, "High school just seems so long ago and honestly I've forgotten most of what my classmates looked like."

Harrison nodded in agreement, "We tended to hang out, just the few of us; Julius, Miles, Seth and I. We weren't really close with our classmates."

I sighed and got up from my very comfy seat on the couch. I headed to the door and pulled on my rubber boots. I dug around the entryway to find an umbrella. I hollered behind me, "Switch the input to HDMI 2 and use the Roku remote to watch whatever. The Pluto App has a whole channel dedicated to cat videos. I'll be back in a few."

As I was about to open the door to leave a hand came from above to hold the door closed. I tilted my head back to see Julius holding the door and looking at me confused. "Where do you think you are going?"

I turned around before I gave myself a neck ache. Harrison and Seth were hovering a few feet behind him looking equally confused. "This is going to bother me so I'm going to find their yearbook from high school."

The three guys looked dumbfounded. Harrison spoke up, "You're going to get their yearbook. At 11 o'clock at night. In the rain?"

I nodded my head. "Uh, yeah."

"Where is their yearbook? Wouldn't it be at their homes?" Seth asked.

"Yea, I'm going to Emmy's. His book is in his office. It is anyone's guess where Ally's is. My guess is an unmarked tote in storage or mixed in with some text books, comic books, or cookbook he bought and failed to learn cooking from."

"How are you getting there? Walking?" Julius asked.

I nodded.

He didn't seem to like that answer as he visibly tensed up. "You are not walking to your brother's house at this time of night. It is too dangerous to go out walking in the dark. Especially in the rain, you could get hurt!"

I rolled my eyes. "I'll be fine, I do it all the time. But if you are that worried, you can come with me."

"I will." Julius said sternly. He pulled on his shoes; Harrison and Seth followed suit. Looks like they are coming with, also.

I grabbed another umbrella and tossed it at them. Seth caught it. I flipped a switch by the door to turn on the porch light and made my way outside. I opened my umbrella and stepped off the deck. I started to make my way across the yard when I noticed the guys heading towards the car. "Where are you guys going?"

"To your brother's?" Julius asked. "I figured we would drive you there."

I laughed. "That would be a waste of time and gas. Follow me, walking is quicker."

Julius jogged to catch up to me and share my umbrella. "Are you sure? It is no big deal to give you a lift."

"Yep. We will be there in less than a minute" I said as we made our way across the yard. I headed around the barn to a side door, stopping right in front of it. "We're here."

The guys looked at me in disbelief. "Your brother lives in the barn?" Julius asked as if he didn't quite believe me.

"They both do with their wives and sons. When they got married they converted the whole barn into two separate apartments. They tend to travel for work a bit so living on the homestead gives the boys a sense of stability when they leave. It gives them their own space but allows us to help when needed. Max and Ollie don't travel the best so they spend a lot of time at the main house as it is." I explained as I opened the door and stepped into the small entryway, flipping on the light.
