Chapter 21 - 1st Kiss

Third year (1st semester)

“Girls, have you heard? Kai and Shion were back!” Marcel said happily while occupying an empty chair around us. She was scanning her phone and joyously stalking Kai. The mention of his name made my heart go rambling. My hate for him was now deeper than before. I want to defeat him and bring him down.

I saw Lily eyed me examining my reaction, I smiled at her, I knew she was anxious and angry at the same time. We still didn’t tell the other girls about my problem with Kai and I want to hide it from them as much as possible.

“I am reading Kai’s status, here read it”, she offered her phone in front of us to let us see his status. I didn’t peek cuz I really don’t care about him.

Since his back, I have to make some plan to take my revenge.

I’ve been very busy with work and projects last semester and didn’t have time to plan about my revenge.

It is about time.

“He said “Glad to be back. See you soon”” that’s what Lily read on his fb status.

Huh! His so excited to see his leech girlfriend. It made me cringe.

“See you soon Kai, I am so excited to see you too, it’s been a year and a half since I last saw you” Marcel said talking to his status.

This girl is a fan girl. I really want to tell him about that Devil but if I will tell her then everything will be opened. I don’t want to do that.

I just shrugged myself from her fangirling.

After taking a bite at the cafeteria, we walked to the school canopy. As usual, guys were ogling at us, but we just let them, I am actually coping with it and I’m happy.

When we were in the middle of the hall way someone called my name, making the four of us to turn our heads.

“Mia!” His voice was familiar and when I looked at the person, I recognized him. It was Shion.

He was running towards us and his face was smiling like he’s going to meet his loved one.

He hugged me and even lift me and turn me around like I’m just a piece of cotton. When he put me down, I didn’t say any words, I was taken aback by his action. I am not his girlfriend for him to do such thing. Even my bff’s were astonished.

“I’m sorry for my action, I was just so happy seeing you today. I’ve been away for more than a year and when I came home, all I want to do is to see you” he said without hesitation. I didn’t reply anything because I don’t know what to say and we were in front of the crowd. They will totally misunderstood this.

“I knew you missed our baby girl but it doesn’t mean you can hugged her all you want” Lily said saving me from him. She pulled me away from him and I am really thankful. I looked at Lily and mentally thank her. She blink her eyes gesturing she recognized my telepathy.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean anything, I was just so happy seeing Mia, my actions were really out of control when it comes to Mia, I’m sorry if I startled you” he said, he seemed regretful about his actions.

“It’s fine but don’t do that again Shion, many people might misunderstood”. I told him and he nods his head.

We continued to walk and Shion tagged along, Vyndell and Marcel were entertaining him and I am glad because I don’t know what to say to him.

We went together to the university gymnasium since there will be a symposium about the new policies of the school. When we entered the gym, it was already full even the benches were already occupied so we ended up standing at the back.
