A Cold Blue Reality

Chapter 18- The time we all facepalmed

Natalia's POV

I feel like I should have let Josh beat Jacob but I was his distraction.  I held him in a hug until I knew he was calm. But while I had him I saw Jacob puking off the side of the rock. I heard Josh start to chuckle and I smiled. I let go of him and, again, made sure he was calm. I walked over towards the others. I looked at Dessy, "Is he gonna be okay?" I look at Jacob and Dessy turns to me,

"Yea he might not be able to have baby's anytime soon but he'll live." I smile at her fighting back a laugh. "So..." She says curiously "You and Josh aye?" I shake my head and laugh,

"At the moment I don't know what we are, so let's just leave it at that for the  moment." She nods at me but this point everyone was back in our group and standing around me and Dessy I look around at the faces that were awaiting instruction.

I look at Josh and Jacob separated by Genna in the middle of the two. I'm gonna have to deal with them at some point. I let an annoyed sigh, "Alright follow me." I signal everyone to walk with me. We come up to a tree that was growing on top of the rock. Around the bottom of this tree was a hose tied tightly around it. Josh looks at me,

"We aren't going down this way are we?" I nod my head

"Of course we are. Well... at least I am you guys can go the long way if you want but this is the fastest way that I know of." He nods his head. I grab the hose and wrap it around my waist and start lowering myself down the side of this VERY steep rock. The hose sliding through my hand as I got lower. I reach the end of the hose but the bottom of the rock was about three feet lower. So I unravel myself from the hose and use the rest to get down. Everyone else followed what I did perfectly. We all got to the bottom of the rock. I look around at everyone and face palm. They all looked at me confusedly, "Did anyone remember the food and weapons on top of the rock?" They all look around at each other and then join me in my face palm,

"I'll be right back. Don't move." They all nod. I grab the hose and run up the side of the rock. It's A LOT harder going up then climbing down. I run across the rock and grab the stuff. I ran back to the tree with the hose and wrap the hose around the stuff and drop it down. But all of a sudden i hear a lot of loud arguing and screaming I look over the edge to see Josh throw a punch at Jacob and Genna on the ground passed out and Dessy holding Genna's head in her lap.

I grab the hose at fast as I can so no time for putting it around my waste. I start propelling myself down the rock.

Dessy's POV

I hold Genna's head in my lap and making sure she doesn't lose her pulse because Jacob punched her in the face when he meant to punch me. But Josh doesn't stand for guys hitting girls so he went at him. I look up to see Natalia coming down the rock as fast as she can. I look towards the two fighting boys. Natalia will be down soon enough and help break up the fight for now I will look after Genna. I hear a scream but it was a female scream. I look up to see Natalia falling from were she had been when she was on the hose I couldn't help but stare as she fell to her demise. I see out of the corner of my eye Josh try and run for her but he was to late by the time she hit the ground......
