A Cold Blue Reality

Chapter 6- Future

Josh's POV 

I stand there looking at her and she just stood there looking at me. Is there something wrong? Does she wanna say no but doesn't wanna tell me? She turned around and walked out the door. I shove my face in my hands. "Ugh, why am I so stupid? Why would she wanna live with me." I groan into my hands again. Well technically she didn't say no. What do I do? I walk out of the house and go for a walk around the town for like two hours. By the time I clear my head and am back home I'm just to exhausted to think anymore. I tell a few of the adults to take shifts watching the wall and head inside. It's probably like twelve by now. I walk upstairs and flop on the bed not noticing the sleeping lump I land on.  I here a muffled "Ow, Josh move your ass." I froze and rolled off the person. I walk over towards the other side of the bed where the lump lay. I pull the blanket off to see Natalia curled up into a ball sleeping. I smile down at her. I guess this is a yes? I chuckle to myself and go back to the other side of the bed and cuddled up next to her pulling her close so I can feel her warmth radiating from her. I fell asleep to her warmness and I woke up the same way. I get up and smile at the sleeping Natalia. I walk downstairs to find Genna, Dessy, and Jacob sitting at the table in the kitchen. Genna looks at me and says, "Meeting?" I nod my head and run upstairs to wake up Natalia I gently shake her,

"Hey baby, You gotta wake up. There is a meeting in the kitchen." She rolls over to me and I smile at her as she sits up with bed head. She looks at me,

"You're such a cheese, just call me by my name." I nod as she yawns, "I'll be down in a minute."

"Okay." I head back downstairs,"what's the meeting about?" Genna looks at me,

"What plans are for the future of the town." I nod my head. They all look behind me surprised. I turn around to see Natalia standing there tired and wiping her eyes. She opens her eyes and look at everyone ,

"What haven't you ever seen a tired person before?" They all nod and Genna goes,

"Are you guys living together." Natalia nods as she stretches,

"Problem?" They all shake their head except Jacob he just stared at Natalia as she stretched. 

"alright let's get this meeting started..." Natalia said clapping her hands together.

----(After Meeting)

Natalia looks around the table, "Wanna go have a town meeting?" Everyone nods at her. We get up and head towards the door and step outside. Genna steps forward and yells,

"TOWN MEETING IN TWENTY MINUTES!!" Everyone on the streets froze and started heading towards the house. Genna turns around and looks at the group, "Go knock on everyone doors and tell them town meeting." I nod.

------(15 minutes later)----

Every one was at the steps. With me Genna, Natalia, Jacob, and Dessy standing in a line ready to make the announcements. Genna steps forward and yells, "IF WE COULD HAVE EVERYONE'S ATTENTION PLEASE!" Everyone quiets down and we have their attention. "We have some announcements for you guys. We just had a meeting about the future of the town. From here Natalia will be explaining what's happening." Natalia steps forward trying to throw her voice so everyone can hear her,

"Hi everyone, like Genna said we had a meeting. In this meeting we discussed building towers to watch over the wall, planting crop, and watching over each other. Now lets start with the building. We are gonna cut it up into to parts were not everyone is working at once that's just a waste of effort. So people who want the day shift see me or Jacob after the meeting. Continuing on with the second thing of planting crops its the same thing but it would help if you had any skill and as for the kids we need teachers who can teach them how to do things and skills. So if you were interested in any of the following Jobs please visit me for planting,Dessy for teaching, and Jacob for building." I hear talk around the crowed and Genna starts to hand out clip broads to the three of us,

"Good luck" She says sarcastically....
