Your long-time boyfriend Keith went to the Ellen DeGeneres show to talk about his new songs but end up talking about you.
"So, how's (Y/N) ?, Ellen asked.
"She's great, thanks.", Keith replied, already knowing what Ellen wanted to talk about: last week he and you announced that you were engaged. After ten years of dating, you and Keith had finally decided to take a big step in your relationship. He was the man of your life and you couldn't wait to get married to him and start a family.
"I heard you made a very special request to her." said Ellen. "How was it to ask (Y/N) to marry you?"
"I was incredibly nervous." confessed Keith, running a hand on his neck. "I mean, she is the love of my life and I was nervous because I wanted everything to be perfect. My hands were shaking when I knelt down to ask her."
In the public there was a general reaction. Everyone loved marriage proposals and you and Keith were a very loved couple.
"It is understandable to be nervous. We are all very happy with the news.", Ellen said.
Keith smiled.
"I feel really happy." he said.
