Ella's POV

"..pag natalo kita. Kantahan mo ko."

"Okay fine."

Anong oras na pero hindi parin ako makatulog. Andito ngayon sa tabi ko si Gabb na mahimbing ang tulog. Alam kong konti nalang mababago ko narin ang isip nya at magbabalik loob narin siya. Nakaharap siya ngayon sakin. I caressed her cheek and sighed deep.

"Malapit na Gabb, konting tiis nalang."

KINABUKASAN

Paggising ko wala na si Gabb sa tabi ko, nagulat nalang ako nang makita siyang naghahanda na ng breakfast namin.

"Good morning. Halika na. Kain na tayo." Masaya nyang sabi sakin. Hmm okay?.

"Wala bang lason to? Haha." Biro ko sabay upo.

"Ay grabeee. Syempre meron."

Silence.

"Jooooke. Hindi naman ako ganun kasama." Upo niya at magsisimula na sanang kumain nang pigilan ko siya.

"Ops, pray muna."

"Seryoso ka?."

"Oo."

"Ikaw nalang--"

"Hindi. Sige na, close your eyes." At ayun napilitan na nga siyang gawin yun. Ako na ang naglead ng prayer.

Amen.

"So, hindi ka parin pala talaga completely convinced."

"Sabi ko nga mahirap akong kombinsihin."

"And why does it have to do with God's existence?."

"Because how on Earth can physical atoms and molecules, for example, create something that exists in a separate domain that has no physical existence: human consciousness? It is a mystery that lies beyond science. "Why? Are you taught to worship them?."

"No?."

"Have you seen one?."

"Well, there are thousands of footages and testimonies out there showing UFOs. Just like those things that you considered as evidences of a living God."
