Frances' POV

9pm. Sa bahay. Kasama ko ngayon si Jaydee dito sa kwarto para sagutan ang mga assignments namin nang biglang napag-usapan na naman namin ang alam nyang di ko ikakatuwa,

"..come on Frances, it's not like she killed someone."

"Still. The wages of sin is death."

"So what? We all die anyways." Sabi nya.

"Not death as you know it but also second death; the final judgment. Remember? The first death was a result of Adam and Eve's sin. What they did was just eat the forbidden fruit yet it caused us death and suffering. So don't say that it's not like she killed someone. This is a serious matter Jaydee, we're not supposed to take that for granted.."

[ The second death is mentioned on multiple occasions in the book of Revelation and is synonymous with the lake of fire. It is a "death" in that it is a separation from God, the Giver of life. It is called the "second" one because it follows physical death.

Explains the second death in the most detail: "The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Sin can be compared to an infectious virus  that affects our personality, motives, thoughts, feelings, expectations, and every other aspect of our minds and hearts.

Similarly, the 16th-century reformer, John Calvin, wrote that "None of the soul remains pure or untouched by that mortal disease." And when we leave this infection unchecked, it leads us all to destruction.

To make matters worse, our sin deadens our moral senses so that we even lie to ourselves about the seriousness of it (Jeremiah 17:9). Even the most seemingly religious people have areas in their lives dead from sin. ]

Alam ko naman na someday mapapatawad ko rin siya.  Ang di ko lang talaga matanggap is that why did she let that happen?. Why did she lie to us?. Why did she cheat on Dad?. What valid reason does she have to do all those things?. Because I just don't get it. Why would she bargain eternal life for that woman?.

I mean it's just disappointing to know that she's not actually the woman I thought she was, growing up.

Gia's POV

Bumalik na rin ako sa kwarto ko matapos kong marinig lahat ng sinabi ni Frances. Well, I'm not the moral arbitrary of the universe, I don't decide for what's right and wrong only God does. So kung anong tama for Him then I'm on His side kaso minsan di talaga madali.

Just like Ella, I've been through a lot. I once abandoned my faith but here I am, back. I'm not homophobic because I don't think I have the right or in the position to condemn or judge people. I also don't support them at all. Maybe I consider myself neutral in that kind of issue.

After all, Jesus taught us to love and that includes our enemies that we should still treat them with dignity and respect.

When we love our enemies, they put us on our knees more often in prayer. Your friends don't usually point out your faults, but your enemies will. That will help you in the long run. Your enemies will make you see what needs to be changed in your life while your friends will overlook your faults.

The translates the passage as:

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
