peace and quiet 

tokoyami revelled in the comfortable noise of nothing 

unfortunately, like all good things 

it didn't last 

a storm was forecasted

and his little moment in the sun enjoying the peace had to come to a close 

and now he had to endure the noisiness that is his classmates 

sighing, he went into the kitchen to get himself a snack 

but when fishing for the apples within the apple basket 

one, in particular, caught his eye 

  reaching it out he noticed it was a red, orange and yellow apple with black spirals covering its surface 

it was memorizing and he couldn't help himself as he bit into the fiery affected fruit 

but although it was beautiful in appearance 

it wasn't so much in taste 

tokoyami tried to spit the chunk out but he unintentionally swallowed it whole 

gaging he threw the supposedly out of date apple in the bin and went to the tap to wash away the disgusting taste away 

but the taste refused to leave, he was so desperate to make it leave that he spilt water all over his head and top 

"yo, bro are you ok, did you set fire to your feathers or something," asked Kirishima coming into the kitchen to get his own snack, only to be met with a dripping wet classmate 

"yes, um..don't go near the apples, they're horribly out of date" tokoyami explained sheepishly as he went out the kitchen and towards his room 

he was met with some odd looks from his other classmates but he was too tired to care 

apparently trying to get a horrible taste out of your mouth and continues to stay takes a lot out of you 

reaching his room he closed the door and grabbed his fluffiest blankets and laying on his bed 

he wouldn't admit it as it would ruin his image of the dark prince but he loved to stack fluffy blankets on his bed and just sleep in a nest of comfiness 

but the persistent winds from his window prevented him from being warm 

and he was really not in the mood 

it was a good idea to open them to get some fresh air in his stuffy room when it was warm 

but now he had to go from his comfy bed to the cold winds from his windows 

he didn't bother dark shadow because if he wakes up, he won't get any sleep 

only the windows seemed to be stuck 

as he struggled to get it closed 

a shining white light with a fiery line crossing through it 

struck tokoyami straight into his chest

causing him to fly back onto his bed and the window to snap shut 

and so did his eyes 

(the next morning) 

"ughhh" tokoyami groaned

tokoyami had woken up to dizziness and strange sensation in his chest
