death by roses

bakugo held the hand of his dying love with care 

in the beginning, it didn't seem too serious 

a little cough and pale skin 

but soon things took a turn to for worse 

he tried to hide it from his classmates and teachers but soon it became too noticeable

he had suddenly rushed to the toilets during class, throwing up and when he came out, there were trickles of blood that came out of his mouth

his vomiting became constant and as he cried out in pain 

his tears were now black as ink

it was hard to see on his face that was covered in dark feathers, but as they dropped to the floor it stained the floor like black dye 

teachers scanned to see what the problem was, and when they had found it, they could hardly believe what they were seeing

roses 

red roses were growing inside the raven head

their vines and thorns wrapped around his organs so if they tried to remove them tokoyami could be killed instantly 

the roses began to flow through his cracked skin, showing off their beautiful red petals

but tokoyami was becoming weaker by the day

his heart rate began to slow and with that came body weakness and he soon became paralyzed through his entire his body excluding his head, neck and right hand 

the students and teachers tried to find anything on the mysterious illness

but there was no mention of flowers that killed a person from the inside out 

and so they had found no cure 

"Please, don't leave me" bakugo begged in a whisper, tears flowing down his face 

but even though the birds head was near-certain death 

he continued to smile proudly 

"Why are you crying," he asked calmly 

bakugo stared at his love, a rose had blossomed in his eyes and which had scattered petals all around his bed, along with other roses 

"because you're, you're leaving me" bakugo shouted in despair 

which responded with a shaky but soft hand to his face, cupping it 

"katsuki, when I die, just look to the sky and never forget, that I love you and I will never truly leave you" he finished 

"you beautiful baxxterd" bakugo whispered as he placed a crying kiss on his beak for the very last time 

but as their lips parted tokoyami's heart monitor beeped in one continues line

bakugo cried as he felt the raven's grip weaken 

and bakugo held the body of his fallen love close 

as the raven's soul flew away from his friends and family 

they had dedicated their love of him by naming the illness after him 

the Rosen fumiyami 

an illness they will never forget
