katsuki bakugo 

king of the sun empire 

and feared by all 

he was a good king in some aspects while bad in others 

he ruled his kingdom with a stern finger 

sneered down to anyone who opposed him 

but still was a king no less 

the crops were never late 

the water was plentiful 

and due to his strategies and himself being quite intimidating 

had never been at war 

the civilians who lived there were happy and joyful 

although their king was not 

it was not that he was miserable 

it was just how he was 

he got bored very easily 

and even with his guards who were more like jesters 

he grew irritated 

but never showed it to the crowd 

at this moment in time, he and his loyal and very manly second in command, Kirishima were in the farmers market looking over at the new crop 

"all well and ripe sire," Kirishima said happily 

bakugo sneered and looked away 

he was pleased that the food was fresh, but it was truly nothing exciting 

the farmers were petrified by his response, mainly because they had not seen him outside of castle walls very regularly 

although he was 17 he was still very scary 

even to grown men 

he became king when he was 14, both his parents had died due to old age 

his parents were coming to the age that if they did not give an heir 

then the kingdom would be left without a ruler 

it was a sad time 

but although they never forgot about the old king and queen 

they would have to live on forward 

it was still a very hard topic for the kingdom 

but they tried to see things on the "brighter side" 

a peculiar face within the crowds brought his thoughts to hold 

"who's that?" bakugo asked for Kirishima 

the king had been outside the kingdom to know his entire kingdom 

it was a very small empire compared to others 

like "Deku's" empire of might 

he would love to go to war with him 

but he knew he would need a more plausible reason then just hating the guy 

Kirishima looked to where his king was looking when he noticed the figure himself 

he wore a long black robe with purple silk at the bottom and wore a red gold purple crown that was designed like a raven 

which was exactly what his head represented 

a literal bird head with glowing red eyes and orange/yellow beak 

(wow) bakugo said to himself 

"oh, him, he's the prince of the dark empire, prince fumikage tokoyami" he replied 

bakugo felt like his brain vain would pop

"And you didn't bother to tell me!" he asked/ shouted angrily

his quirk: explosion ready to hit Kirishima in his face 

"I thought you knew sire" Kirishima laughed sheepishly as he dug through his pocket to reveal an old tattered scroll, which he soon started to unroll and read a very important part of it 

but before he could even start bakugo came charging to the prince 

"excuse me!" he demanded to the prince as he got closer

tokoyami turned around to the yelling king, although he was being blocked by two figures 

an octopus-like man 

and a gothic-looking woman

but tokoyami waved them away, indicating that he would be fine on his own 

but they remained at his side 

just incase 

"greeting lord bakugo, I do believe this is the first time we have met," he said calming 

bakugo soon calmed himself, telling himself to be wise about this 

(he doesn't look like the type of guy that will get scared by a little shouting) 

"greetings yourself, I just came over to ask, why you are in my kingdom," he said with a quivering smirk, him trying to keep a neutral face 

his neck felt like it was getting a cramp from looking all the way down 

this prince looked like he could be snapped in half just by a pair of scissors, and his height was adora-

(no get that thought out of your head, you need to be stern) he told himself

"every year on the 28th of October the royal heir of the dark kingdom will come to the kingdom of sun and acquire the items they desire" Kirishima interjected, causing all heads to turn in his direction 

"exactly what you're compadre has just specified" tokoyami nodded  

bakugo gave a runt, he wasn't ready to give in to defeat just yet 

"and what exactly do they do for us?" bakugo asked  looking at tokoyami in the eye 

although he was talking to Kirishima

"we will give you anything that you desire that is in the kingdom of dark" the woman interjected

"is that so," bakugo said with a smirk 

tokoyami was feeling a little worried with the king's facial expressions 

but didn't show it 

"if that's the case then I'll have to get to know the empire that I'll be visiting before I start taking, how will I know if the car! p's good or not," bakugo said 

the foul language made the prince's guards shudder in anger and shock 

but again tokoyami stood unphased 

"very well then king bakugo, I look forward to our next meeting" tokoyami said as he bowed and walked away, his entourage following close as well 

"likewise" bakugo grinned as he to walked away, kirishma walking close behind 

he too was looking forward to the next time their paths would once again cross
