A U T H O R
Jennie left the apartment leaving Taehyung and Sowon in the room. "Ani.. Jennie!" He was about to follow her but she stood up and held his hand. "What are you doing?"
"Why would you follow her?" He yanked his hand away and left. "Taehyung!" She shouted looking so annoyed. "I thought he sided with me?"
Taehyung on the other hand kept looking for her. "Jennie!!" He checked the nearby stores and places where she could stop by. "Why did I say those things? I wasn't thinking! Jennie!"
He tried calling her but she wasn't picking up. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have talked to her like that. Kim Jennie..
Jennie had no destination and kept on walking. She trusted her feet on where they would take her. "How can he be so dumb?" She felt something hot forming in her eyes. "I'm crying? Ani. Why would I cry?"
She kept on walking until the surroundings turned dark and the pouring rain came. She sighed and shoved her hands inside her pocket, not minding the coldness she felt.
Jennie continued walking at the sidewalk but then someone grabbed her hand and made her face him. "Taehyung." She pulled her hand away but Taehyung took it again.
"Let's talk.. Jen, I didn't mean to say those words to you. Don't do this to me please." She didn't know if it's because of the rain or he's really crying in front of her. But Jennie didn't care.
"Stop following me." She coldly said and pulled her hand away. "You sided with her, right? Why don't the both of you just fuck each other and leave me alone?!"
"Jen I didn't side with her. I just thought it would be better for the both of you to start over again! So the both of you will be okay. So you won't hate each other anymore. Why is it so hard for you to forgive her?!"
"You don't want to know." Thunder started roaring and the rain poured harder. Jennie tried to run but Taehyung caught her again and pulled her back.
"Then why? Give me a reason why so I can understand why you can't!"
"Because she's just faking it! Can't you see it yourself?! She's not sincere about it! And you don't know her well Taehyung. You're not the one who she bullied years ago! You know nothing about her! You know nothing about what she did to me before!"
"What did she do?! Just tell me Jennie-"
"I almost died because of her!!" After she realized what she just said, she quickly ran away leaving Taehyung frozen on his spot.
She hid in an alley and cried harder. Remembering what happened that day. It happened on Sowon's birthday. That same day when they told her the wrong place of the celebration.
"Give that back!!" Jennie shouted at the older girl. "Sowon that's enough!" She tried to reach the bracelet Sowon kept raising up. "Give that to me!"
"Why would I?" She threatened to drop it from their school's rooftop. "When I can get rid of this trash right now?"
"That's not trash. It's from my mother." Sowon laughed and looked at the bracelet. "Please Sowon, give it back."
"I guess it's really precious. It makes me more thrilled to drop this right now." She teased her through loosening her grip onto the bracelet making Jennie shout.
"Don't do it! Please.." She was in the verge of crying and kneeled down but Sowon rolled her eyes and dropped it from the building.
Jennie was fast and caught it before it was out of reach. Because of what she did, she lost balance and fell off the railings. Good thing she held onto the bar but she dropped the bracelet in front of Sowon.
"Help me! Sowon!" Instead of reaching her hand out, she smirked and took the bracelet with her. "No.. Sowon!! Help me!"
The older girl was already out of sight when Jennie breathlessly climbed back. She ran back inside to look for her but she wasn't anywhere. Only her friends were the ones left in the classroom.
"Where's Sowon?" She asked still catching her breath. "I have to get my bracelet back."
"She's probably headed to the amusement park for her birthday. Maybe she's there. Don't worry, you're invited." They said before bumping her shoulder and left the room.
And that is how she got into that place and how she went there even though she wasn't in good terms with Sowon.
But days after, Sowon returned her bracelet and decided to be friends with each other since she didn't want Jennie to tell the teachers about the things she did.
Eventually, they did make up but that day was never forgotten by Jennie even if they agreed to forget all the things that happened in the past.
The rain stopped and Jennie decided to go home. It's almost lunch time and she felt her stomach growling. "Why did I even leave my apartment when I'm the one who lives there in the first place? Psh. Paboya."
She was on her way up to her apartment when she saw Taehyung sitting outside with his back against the door. This guy won't give up, will he?
She walked towards him and he quickly stood up when he saw her. "Jen.."
"Go home. There's nothing to see here." He shook his head and pouted as he silently cried. "Tae just go! I'm not in the mood to talk to you. Move."
"I won't leave until you forgive me. I'll stay here even if it rains that hard. I'm not leaving."
Jennie sighed and opened the door. "Suit yourself. I don't care." She went in and slammed the door shut.
"Jennie! Jen, don't do this.. Jen.. Ttalgi-yah.. Open the door." Taehyung kept knocking but Jennie inside didn't mind him and entered her room. "Jen, I'm sorry! I'm sorry.. Open the door please."
His tears started falling as he fell on his knees and knocked one last time. Talk to me, jebal. I don't want to see you mad at me. I couldn't take it Jennie. I'm sorry.
