"Hyung, are you sure everything's ready? I don't want to disappoint her." Taehyung worriedly said. "It's her special day. This is the second time she's gonna spend her birthday with me and I want it to be perfect."

"Yeah, whatever. It's still next week. Why are you so tensed?" Seokjin asked and continued cutting the onions. "It's not like you're her boyfriend."

"Yah. I may be n-not.. You didn't have to tell me. I'm still her Smiley and I want to give her everything I can to make her happy."

"Sheesh! Why so cheesy?" Said Jungkook who just opened the fridge. "You know hyung? Even if you don't tell us, it's soooo obvious that you're head over heels for Jennie noona. Even Yoongi hyung who doesn't give a damn about anything noticed it too."

"Shut up and get lost." Jungkook rolled his eyes and left. "Hah.. I still can't get over what happened yesterday." Could it be possible that she felt jealous after seeing me with Sowon?

His thoughts were suddenly cut when they heard Jennie scream from his room. "Beomgyu!" Jin signaled him to go check on her and he did.

Taehyung sprinted to his room and saw Jennie typing on her phone looking panicked. "Jen, what happened?"

"I totally forgot about my brother! Ahh!" She called him and sighed in relief when Beomgyu answered. "Beomie!"

'Aish. Don't shout at me. Why did you call?'

"Yah! Are you okay? Are you at the apartment right now? Is there anyone threatening you? Answer me!"

'What's wrong with you? Of course, I'm fine. I came home last last night and found the house all messed up. What did you and Taehyung hyung do? Did you try it?'

Jennie suddenly looked at Taehyung who was listening to their conversation. "Uh.. No? What-why.. Yah! Are you seriously okay?"

'Never been better. Where are you anyway? The apartment's too quiet and it gets scary at night. When are you coming home?'

"Aww.. Is my Beomie scared? Don't worry about me and I'll come home as soon as possible. I thought you're already a grown up guy but you're still a scared babie."

'Whatever.' He ended the call.

"That's strange.." Taehyung said and sat beside her. "They didn't want to hurt your brother. They're really after you."

"Seems like it. What did you get from Sowon though? Did she deny it? Or did she say anything suspicious?" Taehyung sighed and crossed his arms.

"Kim Jennie." He seriously started. "We didn't even get to talk yesterday because Jimin hyung came running and almost beat the hell out of me. Then followed by Rosé who was about to pull my hair when she saw Sowon. They told me that you saw us and you were crying so I had to leave and look for you. I was worried. If you didn't give me a chance to explain then I would've gotten crazy."
