A U T H O R

Though the rain wasn't kind to her, Jennie didn't leave the bus stop and kept on crying. People noticed her but she would always ignore them, everyone except one person. "Ttalgi-yah.."

Jennie slowly lifted her head and looked at him. "Tae.." He walked closer to her and she quickly embraced him. "My mom.. Tae she died." Taehyung's eyes grew bigger after hearing what she said. "Tae she's gone.."

He quickly hugged her and patted her back. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He softly whispered.

Jennie was slowly calming down and Taehyung suggested that they should head to her apartment. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder for support, grabbed the bag of beer she bought and walked to her place.

She sat on the couch and rested her head on the back of it. Taehyung looked at her and sighed. "What happened?"

Jennie didn't answer but looked at the envelope on her hand. "Fuck the money. I want her right here. She should be right here." And she started crying again. "Why did she have to go?"

He sat beside her and made her lay her head on his shoulder. "Tell me." He softly said looked at her. "The pain lessens if you tell it to someone, Jen. What happened?"

"That dream. It's as if she wanted to say goodbye to us but she couldn't anymore. My step sister came and she brought me that money saying mom couldn't send it to us so she saved it instead. The reason why she never came to visit was her husband. He didn't let her see us. If I knew this would happen then I should've looked for her. But she's gone. Worst part. I didn't even get to see her before she died. It has been two months and yet I had no idea she got into an accident. We should've been there by her side. We're her kids but we never got to see her."

"Does Beomgyu know about this?" Jennie shook her head and wiped her tears. "I don't know how he can take this."

"I won't tell him yet. Even I couldn't bear with it." Right after Jennie said those words, her phone beeped and Beomgyu's message popped up.

'Noona. I'm sorry I can go home tonight. We got a project that is supposed to be passed tomorrow so I'm helping in my classmate's house. I hope you're home already. Take care.'

Jennie sighed and closed her phone. The cans of beer caught her attention. She opened the bag and quickly opened a can. "Y-yah. You're driking? You still have to shoot tomorrow." Taehyung attempted to take it but Jennie slapped his hand away. "Ttalgi-yah.."

"I need to drink to feel numb. I want to shout and express how bad I feel but I can't. I need this." She chugged it down and it left Taehyung with nothing to do but look at her.

"Calm down." He said and rubbed her back. "Ttalgi-yah, don't be reckless with your actions."

"Tae. How can I not be? I lost my mom two months ago and yet here I am, totally clueless about it. How the fuck am I gonna calm down?!" She took another can and drank it in one go. She wiped her lips with the back of her hand and took another can. "I can't." She drank it again and opened another.

"Alright. If that's what you really need then I won't stop you. Just promise me you'll be okay." She ignored him and continued drinking. I feel so sorry for you Jen. I hate to see you like this. Why did it have to happen to you?
