Naruto's POV:

"I see... well, I will be working for a while. Feel free to look around Suna while I get done here and find you all places to stay." Gaara's said showing little to no emotion.

I feel like I trust him... he feels like me... a Jinchuriki, but I can't feel a Bijju nearby.  Kurama told me about this but I didn't really think it was true...

I didn't know whether to keep acting in his presence or not so I just settled for a serious look at him. He didn't seem effected. In fact, he seemed to understand what I was doing. The others were very confused.

"H-Hey, Naruto, it's not nice to stare especially at the Kazekage!" Sakura said worriedly while sweat dropping. "It's fine Sakura. This is from one Jinchuriki to another. Others wouldn't understand." He replied.

He's not wrong... After talking to Kurama I understood a lot more than before. I'm interested in who this person was to me. He's like a best friend, yet he is a stranger to me. Before I talked to Kurama, I probably wouldn't have any idea about how to know who was a Jinchuriki and who wasn't. But now it felt so clear that I almost slipped up.

He seems strong. He is the Kazekage... I wonder if he decided to be Kazekage because of me, or if he was already Kazekage when we met.

I sighed and then nodded, accepting the fact that I would get answers later. I smiled again, this time not as big but still fake and left. I probably shouldn't have done that now that I think of it...

Oh well.

I closed the door behind me as they talked to each other in a hushed tone. They sure do love to talk don't they? Probably talking about you. Nani!?! Kurama you almost gave me a heart attack!

It's been about two days. Nothing really eventful happened. Naruto still had nightmares, everyone practically stalked him-not letting him out of their sights again, Naruto learned pretty much nothing new and he he finally aced his mask with all the attention and stuff.

As night had come, so had dreams. Some were nice, filled with women, certain guys, peaceful fields and so on, while others weren't so nice. Things like monsters and bullies and stupid things like that.

And last, there were- well... they don't know. It was a dreamless sleep. Naruto was experiencing this, as he did something that I'm sure you can guess.

Grew.

The once 13-year old gennin was now a 14-year old gennin. With hopefully only a few days left of this nightmare, He had woken up to his memories replaced.

Naruto POV:

Heh?!? Where's Pervy-Sage? Where am I? Was I kidnapped? I looked around to see I was surrounded by sand. Well that solves one question. Why am I here? Did Gaara need me and I forgot?

3rd POV:

He then realized he was wearing his old orange jumpsuit. He went through his bag carefully looking for the seal containing his clothes, but was surprised to see it just laying there, In between the scrolls.

He quickly changed and decided to go out for a stroll.

Ne, Kurama-san? What is it Naruto? The fox let out an exhaustedly irritated sigh. Care to explain what's going on? *sigh* fine, go find a place to sit still and listen carfully.

I am NOT repeating myself! Fine, fine... Naruto went towards a sandy playground which had been abandoned the afternoon previous due to children needing sleep.

As Kurama went through a re-cap of everything that happened. Naruto had been unconsciously, carefully tracing his scars from previous years.

He had been focused on one specific one though. It was a word that had been "placed" there so many times before, even if Naruto wanted Kurama to heal it so it would disappear, it wouldn't work.

In clear, careful handwriting, from his mid-stomach to the bottom of his chest, was the word he despised. After that it was underlined many times to make it stand out more. Naruto hated it the most, yet he didn't want to get rid of it the most either.

To make it standout just that much more, the villagers always avoided putting anymore marks near that area. So while his body was littered with scars and bruises, there seemed to be a circle of skin clear of anything surrounding a word that would haunt him after death.

He used to get rid of the scars since he didn't want the memory, but at 13 he decided to only remove them when going to a hot-springs or social outing with friends. Ever since he found out the word wouldn't heal, he stopped going to such events.

After Kurama was done Naruto was a little shocked. So I'm 16? Maybe I can reverse the Jutsu and just be 16 again. Good luck... I estimate about two days before you go back to normal or change again.

And with that he got to work.

✌︎('ω'✌︎ )Flashback ( ✌︎'ω')✌︎

It was a bright sunny day as Jirayah had planned on giving Naruto a random Jutsu to practice while he did some research. He last left Naruto at the hotel they stayed at so he could get dressed and told him to come straight down to the nearby forest.

As Naruto approached he was smiling even bigger than usual. "Something good happen?"
He asked. "I'm gonna learn a new Jutsu! How can I not be happy!" Naruto yelled, internally crying about the new town they were in.

The town had Konoha people who didn't agree with the thirds morales, so basically a town full of ruthless devils that despised me. I never told  Jiriyah what happened that day....

Jirayah continued to be ignorant and told Naruto to work on his rasengan. Naruto's mood plummeted immediately. On the inside, he was actually content with that because he couldn't really control his rasengan that well at the time.

But because of his mask, on the outside he was pouting and sad. Jirayah decided it was time to leave. "Wait. What?!? Your leaving? But-But I uh..." Naruto felt a sinking feeling in his chest.

He knew that if he left now, there was no doubt the villagers would take action. It was to late....By the time he finished Jiraya was gone...
