Ch.12 The debate

Kakashi's POV:

I woke up around 6 AM and decided to go out to get some food from a 24 hour store somewhere nearby. I got dressed, put my mask and Shinobi headband on, then went to the main room to put my shoes on.

After putting my shoes on I left, and started roaming around, trying to find a store that was opening. It was still dark out so I had low hopes, but you never know.

As I was walking through the streets, I saw a peculiar sight. It was Naruto! The only thing wrong was he looked older. Not the age we are used to...no he is still younger than 16. I checked to see if it was a Genjutsu, or if it was a fake but it seemed legit.

I was curious as to why he was out here when I noticed him mumbling something while touching his stomache.

At first, I thought like any normal person would. He's gone crazy. But then I remembered that this is Naruto. Most likely, he is talking to the 9-tailed fox and tracing his seal- or something I debated going up to him to see what was going on.

Or to question what he was doing out here, but I decided to instead head to the hotel to tell everyone what I saw. After shunshining (?) as close as I could get there, I walked inside and checked Naruto's room to make sure he wasn't there, then attempted to wake everyone up.

I didn't feel like going into everyone's room and waking them up so I just woke up Sakura and told her to do it instead. As she went door to door, waking everyone up, I was reading my orange book.

Eventually everyone was in the main room looking at me either
A. Angrily
B. Tiredly
Or C. Confused

They sit on the couch as I ignored them and got straight to the point. After telling them everything I saw, the debate began. Like usual, Sakura started first.

"Why was he out there? What did he look like? Was he upset? Are you sure it was him?" Various people had asked.

"I don't know why he was out there-" -Kakashi

"Well we did learn last time he aged he lost all of his memories. If he is still not 16 and he was wearing the black and orange outfit, we can assume he was probably with Jirayah at the time. Using this information, we can assume that he probably felt threatened when he woke up in the sand village and escaped thinking he was being kidnapped." -Shino

"..."

"..."

"..."

"He looked fine. Not especially happy, but not sad. I know it was him because I checked his room and he wasn't there, I also check for a genjutsu. It was definitely him."-Kakashi

"I wonder if he is alright..."-Hinata

"I thought we discussed this last time, he's obviously not ok. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he hated the hidden leaf! The only thing we need to figure out now, is what happened to make him not ok."-Kiba

"Your going to wake up the village if you yell any louder!"-Sakura

"At least I'm not screeching every word I speak!"-Kiba

"That was lame!"-Sakura

"So are you!"-you can guess

"Ehem-Back to the subject at hand."-Kurenai

"Let's review all of the information we have gathered on him throughout the week. Maybe we can find a breakthrough and confront him as soon as he gets back!"-Kurenai

"Even if we do figure out what's going on. We have to talk to the hokage before we take any sort of action."-Sasuke (surprisingly)

"Exactly! Always right about everything.~ Well, let's get started. From the beginning to now!"
-Sakura

"Right... so when he was born, it was the day the 4th Hokage passed and the Kyuubi rampage. He was the child used to carry the Kyuubi. We recently learned, the Kyuubi is actually nice, and does not want to harm the village.... I think."-Hinata

"Correct. Afterwards, he was orphaned due to his parents dying that day. We do not know his parents names. *cough* we know that he was scared of something or someone in the village when he was three, which led us to believe that was the main cause. Since he was taken outside of the village, he became more relaxed and even told Hinata he had feelings for her when he grew up."-Kakashi

"When he 'grew up' to an 12 year old gennin, he told us something about what happened the day before. We knew at the time he was lying, but we agreed that if circumstances were different, we would have believed him. What he told us, also supports our idea of him being really sad instead of happy. The Jutsu used on him was supposed to transform him to the worst year of his life for a certain amount of time."-Sakura

"The Jutsu was only an experiment though, and not completed, we can tell because Naruto has kept transforming to different ages, this also could support the idea, he has had a horrible life. It might be that the Jutsu did it's job, but Naruto's life was just so bad, he transformed several ages through, his worst to-I assume- Fifth worst. Eventually he will be his age again though."-Shino

"If that is true, then his whole life would have been a lie! Do we even know Naruto? Was he faking everything?"-Kiba

"No... I don't think so... remember, he might be faking his personality, but why? My guess, is to protect the people he cares about. He doesn't have any other reason. He was acting happy so you all wouldn't be sad... if anything, he has been protecting you. I'm sure he has more reasons but... oh I don't know.."-Kurenai
(Sorry if she seems OOC, I don't really see her character a lot and I haven't finished Naruto yet, so I'm going off of Wattpad books.)
