Abhedya was waiting for Swarnima to accept his proposal. He was determined to not let Swarnima go away, not this time. What turns their relation will take, future shall decide but he wanted to give it a try. With Swarnima in his life, everything was worth trying.

Swarnima kept looking at him. She forgot to eat her favourite delicacy. The ice cream in her tub and the one forwarded towards her were both melting just the way she was. His words created magic. They were simple but magical. He just wanted them to be together with no strings attached, no commitments and no boundaries. Did she want this? But what will happen when he gets to know the real truth? Will he forgive her and understand the intention behind the lie? Maybe, maybe not! Was it worth a chance? Will they be heartbroken or will their hearts unite forever?

In the absence of any reaction and any response, Abhedya said with a smile, "I guess, either you are not sure or you don't trust me." He was about to take back the ice cream when Swarnima held his hand and took the bite and in all honesty confessed, " I would rather share this one lifetime with you."

Saying that she forwarded her ice cream to him which Abhedya gladly ate and said, "this is tasty. I always thought it would be too sweet. But it's nice." He took one more spoon from her tub and was about to take one more when Swarnima took her tub away from him and declared, "get yourself one if you like it so much. I don't share mine." She started eating rather her ice cream.

"God! Such a child you are." Abhedya commented and ate his own.
Swarnima stopped eating and concentrated on solving the problem. Something did change? She was happily eating her ice cream then what happened suddenly?

"Why did you stop eating?" Abhedya questioned her.

"Sorry! You can eat as much as you want." Swarnima forwarded her tub towards Abhedya.

"No offence! But you are weird. What happened? No lies! No dogging the question." Abhedya asked her with authority.

Swarnima looked at him. He still could read her demeanour. The change in her. It was her chance to not make things complicated, so she smiled and disclosed, "just...granny always told me to stop behaving like a child, whenever she felt I did. I normally keep a check on it, didn't realise I made a mistake. Sorry."

Abhedya banged his hand hard on the table causing Swarnima to jump from her seat. "Sorry! Did I say something wrong?" Swarnima was not sure what caused the rage in Abhedya.

Abhedya saw Swarnima's scarred face and felt sorry. "You did not do anything wrong. It's these people who have done wrong." Abhedya went forward and held Swarnima's hand and explained, "it's okay... in fact, it's important to keep the child in us alive. Fighting for food with friends is a must thing."

"Why should we fight? We can make more food so that no one has to compromise." Swarnima offered a solution.

Abhedya slapped his forehead and said, "you continue with the problem and finish your ice cream before it melts."

Swarnima nodded and started with solving the problem. After about 10 minutes she smiled and celebrated, "done". Then turned the screen to Abhedya.

He was busy staring at her. Swarnima cleared her throat and Abhedya snapped out of the plan Of action he was making in his mind to 'normalise' Swarnima.

"Ummm... I should leave now. Bye." Swarnima said getting up.

Abhedya got up too and asked her to stop. "Don't stress yourself and be free." He held her forearms and confirmed, "okay?" When Swarnima's "aaahhh" came out and she released her hand from his and left nodding her head.
