Swarnima was sitting in her room thinking did she say something wrong? Was her decision to stick to being friends wrong? Was Abhedya angry with her? Finding no answers, Swarnima pulled up her blanket and slumped on her bed.
'Uhhhh!! Why is everything so messed up?!!!' Swarnima said to herself and tried to sleep.Following morning Swarnima got up to the aroma of something and followed the source of smell.
Abhedya wearing an apron and a chef's hat was tossing something in a pan. She came inside the kitchen to have a closer look.
'Oh my God!! How can he look so freaking hot in the morning. Ah!! He looked like a morning delight... just eat him up, already Nim!' Swarnima's early morning thoughts were untamed."Hey. Good morning... my morning glory... hope you slept well. Just freshen up and come quickly. Breakfast is ready." Abhedya was standing with support of the kitchen slab facing Swarnima.
Swarnima was enslaved to her 'morning delight', Abhedya. She did not answer or move. After a few seconds Abhedya smirked, came close to Swarnima and remarked, "being just friends now, are we?" He leaned closer and Swarnima bit her lower lip in embarrassment.
"Don't do that!" Abhedya warned her and she looked confused. Abhedya pulled her from her arm and told her, "do not bite your lips. It's meant to be bitten in a different manner. You want me to show you? Trust me I would love it. Just the way I love.." Swarnima ducked from under him and ran to her room. She shut her room and breathed heavily. She could hear Abhedya's laughter from outside.
'Focus Nim!! You have to stay firm in your decision. To make a beautiful and permanent bond you have to take things slowly and cherish each moment. So, Nim no matter how hot and sexy he looks and invites all your attention just don't loose your control.' Swarnima instructed her brain, her heart and her sense organs.
After taking a bath and dressing in a sleeveless top and joggers Swarnima came out and was welcomed by Abhedya. He offered his hand for Swarnima to hold and made her sit on the dining table where the delicious breakfast cooked by him was displayed.
Bacon, pan cakes, omelette, boiled eggs, juice and cutlets. Swarnima smiled and looked at him. "What's special? I told you to not waste your time and focus on your training. These look fantastic but..""Shhh!!! This is for a very special 'friend' of mine. Don't worry about the training. I have a brilliant protector to guide me." Abhedya winked at her and removed his finger which he placed on Swarnima's lips.
'The best pair of lips. Soft, luscious, full and juicy too, I think.' Abhedya shook his head to stop those wild thoughts.
Swarnima quietly served herself the delectable and ambrosial meal. She tasted and moaned when a variety of flavours hit her taste buds.
"Nim! Just stop okay!" Abhedya almost scolded her. She looked at him with a confused expression. 'God!! How can she be so dumb!!' Abhedya questioned the almighty.
"I have told you before also... to not moan like this.. it's.. its.. umm.. very inviting.. and now if you question me 'inviting as in?' Trust me the repercussions of the explanation will not be acceptable to you. So, just eat quietly." Abhedya said digging his fork in the food.
Swarnima didn't question but was analysing the meaning in her head. She widened her eyes upon realisation and ate quietly.
Abhedya was hiding that smirk smile on his face and Swarnima wanted to wipe off that smirk from his face. He ignored her request to 'just be friends' for the time being and was doing every possible thing to remove the tag of 'just friends'.
When they finished the breakfast... Swarnima asked him, "You didn't reply to my request last night."
"What was the request? Oh! To just be friends again? and take things slow?" Abhedya answered picking up the plates. "Well, I thought over it but.." keeping the dishes in kitchen Abhedya pulled Swarnima with a jerk, put her hair behind her ear and said...
"it is NOT POSSIBLE! We never have been nor can be, 'just friends'. I want to know more about you, all about you but that I can do much better by being 'more than a friend to you'.
By being just friends I won't know how you will react if I trailed my finger along the length of your arm." Abhedya trailed his finger sensually on her arm and it gave her goosebumps.
"By being just friends I won't know what you will do if I pulled you close and wrap you in my arms." Abhedya enclosed Swarnima in his arms.
"By being just friends I won't know if I hold your face in my palms, how red you go." Abhedya touched Swarnima's soft cheeks.
"By being just friends I won't know if I kiss you, will you fight for dominance or let me take the lead?" Abhedya was about to place his lips on Swarnima's when she asked,
"so, that is all you want to know? About my physical reactions to your advancements? Don't you want to know about 'me'? Do you know my current favourite colour? What I like to eat, now? What I like to do in my free time, now? What I did when I was not studying or training? Why do I still wear lenses and specs? What are my medical conditions? What is my motto in life? What I want to do once the throne is claimed? What does friendship mean to me? What does 'love' mean to me?" Swarnima looked in Abhedya's eyes and questioned him. She then came out of his embrace and said, "we are late for the skill fight session. Please join fast in the backyard."
