Aadya intertwined her hand with Arya's. The attack shook Arya to the core and he was silent, which was so unlike him.

"This one is for you my brother and the love of your life." Abhedya strummed his guitar and sang a beautiful song to lighten the tense atmosphere.

Song: Haareya
Movie: meri pyari Bindu

Abhedya may have dedicated the song to Arya and Aadya but his heart knew each word of the song was meant for Swarnima.
He sang the whole song looking in the rearview mirror which showed him the most beautiful set of eyes. The eyes were fierce yet gentle. The eyes that captivated him and he was ready to be their hostage.
When Abhedya finished the song he winked at Swarnima who looked in the mirror at the same time. The shades of red that appeared on her face were undefinable. It was a mix of cherry and beetroot. Just how Abhedya wanted it to be.

Arya also seemed to have calmed down because he couldn't stop himself from commenting, "The game was over last night, Nim. What makes you go all red?"

All eyes were on Swarnima. "The song was for Arya and Aadya. Don't think he sang for you, darling. He has a class that you don't match. Don't take it to your heart because I don't want you to have a heartbreak." Adah cleared Swarnima or was she convincing herself? She didn't know. She was just insecure.

"For once I agree with you, Adah," Abhedya agreed and explained, "Swarnima is definitely at the apex and people like you and me can only dream to reach her level."

Adah made a bad face and countered, "Abhey, trust me, honey, you may be wanting this virgin out here, but she won't be fun. Not in bed, not in life. She is boring and...."

A tight slap landed on her face and a furious Aadya shouted, "One word more from your mouth and I will forget you are Tara's sister. What do you know about her?"

"Aadya, please. It's okay! It doesn't matter what she says. She doesn't matter." Swarnima tried to calm the situation.
Adah started to cry loudly. The ones in the middle row put fingers in their ears. Swarnima stopped the car and offered her water. The trio was angry with Swarnima. Adah threw the bottle outside and stepped down.

"I won't let Tara tie the knot with your family. If she is going to have such a violent sister in law she better not be married to your brother Arya." Adah threatened them and wailed even louder.

"See, that is why I asked you to ignore her. You don't know her mother. Now when we go to their house tomorrow she will raise this issue. For once, understand ignoring?" Swarnima wanted them to act mature.

Abhedya pulled Swarnima's hand and said, "You are habitual of hearing people disgrace you, we aren't. We have learned to stand up for our friends and support them. How would you react if she said the same about any one of us? Aadya just slapped her, I would have done worse."

"But, how do you deal with her now. We can't leave her in the middle of the road." Swarnima took a deep breath and Adah's fake crying grow louder.

"Adah, just sit! We are getting late. We are still on the outskirts and it is unsafe." Abhedya requested Adah.

"Only if you hug me and Aadya apologises to me." Adah thought she could blackmail them.

Swarnima got down from the car and warned, "Look, Adah, you have made some extremely derogatory remarks. Now, listen to me, Aadya will not apologise and if you create any misunderstandings between Tara and Maan's family, trust me, if I can fight the goons like that... I will make you disappear and where? Not even a fly would know. So, just sit inside the car or else we will not think twice before leaving you here."
