"Is it looking that bad?" Swarnima saw her dress and frowned. "I told Tara and Aadya but they won't listen. I don't even have time to change." Swarnima was ranting. She was wearing a maroon and peach coloured poshak with subtle yet intricate work on its lehenga, blouse and odhni. She wore a bodla on her head, bangles in her hand, a nath in her nose. She looked like a breathtakingly beautiful bride... rightly so, because Abhedya's breath was hitched.

Abhedya walked towards her in a stupor and put his finger on her lip.
"Shhh! You confuse the hell out of me." Abhedya took Swarnima's face in his palm and continued, "you were so quiet when I met you and now you don't stop talking. You... you look ethereal. Any form of superlative degree of beautiful or it's synonymous cannot describe how you look. Your stardust soul is reflecting in your enchanting eyes. Sona, how am I supposed to meet the dignitaries? Don't blame me if I become motionless and zone out there."

Swarnima also put her finger on his lips and said, "You are rubbing off on me kunwar sa. Now, we are getting late. The PM is about to reach. I will brief you on the way. Come on now. Hurry up." She was still not used to such words of appreciation.

Swarnima turned to leave but the Romeo king pulled her with a jerk and wrapped his free hand around her. "I would love rubbing off on you. Don't give me ideas." Abhedya left her hand and kissed her forehead. "Just stay by my side. Consider this an order from your king." Swarnima was blushing hard. The undying love she has for her king was being reciprocated with equal fervour making her emotional and overwhelmed. Swarnima nodded her head and they left to welcome the Prime Minister of India along with a few cabinet ministers.
Swarnima briefed Abhedya about the upcoming programme changes and schedule.

The council, ministers and Maan were standing in a row for the welcome. Abhedya joined them. The media was awestruck by the way the 'power couple', The Ruler and his Protector looked. They focused on them and the burning chemistry between the duo could not be hidden from the lens.

The convoy of cars entered the gates of the grand Swarnbhoomi Palace and then finally the focus shifted from the king and his muse. The SPG security checked and after an 'all good' sign the gates of black BMW 7-Series 760 Li luxury sedan, opened and the Prime Minister of India stepped out. Abhedya folded his hands in namaste and gave a bouquet of fresh orchids to the prime minister. He accepted it humbly and Abhedya escorted him to the grand entrance of the palace after a brief introduction of the state ministers and council.

The prime minister was led to one of the ballrooms. Once meet and greet was done the prime minister and Abhedya sat on the sofa along with other dignitaries. For the media coverage arrangement in the balcony was done so, they got the desired footage without disturbing the function.

The Prime Minister was called on the podium to say a few words.
"I once had the privilege of meeting the Iron Queen RUDRAPRIYA DEVI RAJVANSHI. The charisma and aura the queen had were magical. I was just an MLA then but she told me 'treat the people of your constituency as your kids and your land as your mother'. Those words imprinted on my soul and today when I heard his highness King ABHEDYA RAJVANSHI telling his people to rule with him I understood, some people are born to rule. The hardships the state faced and how well they fought back is an inspiration.
India is a democratic country. All states are governed by their state governments. SWARNBHOOMI is different. It is still governed by its Rulers and is the most flourished and only state which can be termed as developed in our nation. The crime rate is low, the literacy rate is as high as 95% and the list can go on and on.
I have no shame in saying that all states should learn from Swarnbhoomi. That doesn't mean they should lose faith in their government. All I am trying to say is we can follow some exceptional policies of this state. For example, their education policies or their high-end security system.
Now I would end my speech else like I am already famous for 'talking a lot'. But, before that, I would like to mention a fierce and selfless soul present here.
Yes, I am talking about Miss SWARNIMA ARYAVANSHI. I was briefed about her sacrifices and bravery. Beta, please come here." The prime minister called Swarnima on the stage and that made her nervous. She walked slowly towards the stage with all the cameras and eyes on her. She stood next to the Prime Minister and he put his hand on her head, "I urge all girls to be like her. She is an army in her way and can kill the enemy in seconds. Beta, please suggest ways create awareness on basic self-defence techniques for girls." Swarnima nodded her head and stepped down. Abhedya's chest swelled with pride. He was proud of his girl.
"I hereby, conclude by saying that I have faith and trust in the new king of Swarnbhoomi. He is young, dynamic and intelligent. I am sure the state will touch new heights in his rule. LONG LIVE SWARNBHOOMI AND IT's KING"
