Swarnima pleaded Abhedya to share his family with her. One thing Abhedya noticed today was that she only takes his name when she wants to request something or emphasis on something. What she was requesting him to give her was not in his hands.

"Nim, if I try to separate my family from you.. my family will disown me. You remember what dad told mom on their anniversary night, 'I don't love you, rather us because we could not create a daughter like Nim.' They treat you their daughter more than they consider me their son. What I said earlier... I regret every word and it was untrue. I am sorry." Abhedya had regret on his face.

Swarnima just smiled and finished her breakfast. Abhedya was observing her. He didn't want her to go back to her old self. He wanted the lively Swarnima back. KAZU the puppy came running to Swarnima. He was neat and tidy.

"Hey cutie pie. Are we clean now? Are we full now? Give me nod... yeah... that's like a good boy.." Swarnima was cooing the little puppy.

'I wish I was the puppy.' Abhedya thought and jerked his head. 'Abhey? You want to be a puppy? Seriously? Woo the girl to get those reactions.' Abhedya's brain suggested.

Nivi came out of the room and saw the puppy. Swarnima, Nivi and Kazu became friends instantly. They left Abhedya, his plans and his thoughts with his breakfast and came to Swarnima's room. It was a treat to the eyes to see Swarnima laying on the bed with Kazu on her stomach and Nivi giggling at their antics. How could anyone ever think that this was not Swarnima's family.

"I am there in this house too." Abhedya reminded them.
Swarnima sat up and put Kazu on the floor. She put her hair strands behind and looked absolutely adorable when she got all conscious.

Abhedya sat on the bed and Nivi said, "I have got some games let's play. Abhey, get them from the room please, I am not well." Nivi dramatised and Abhedya rolled his eyes but still went to his room to get games.

"Snake and ladders, Ludo, monopoly, Pictionary, scrabble? What are you? ten? I thought you got video games or play station. Who plays these board games." Abhedya commented throwing the games on the bed.

"Nim and I will play. You can join or leave." Nivi told Abhedya curtly. "What do you want to start with Nim?"

"I don't know. Whatever you suggest. It's been ages I played these games." Swarnima was all pepped up.

"Cool let's start with snakes and ladders. It will be a check who is more lucky." Nivi said rubbing his hands. "So, red, green, blue or yellow? Which colour pawn do you want?"

"Red always!" Swarnima answered immediately and tried not to, but smiled. Some old memories never fade.

"Okay then. Prepare to loose." Nivi said rolling the dice.

The games was at its climax both pawns at 96, four needed to win, snake at 99 and you go down at 9. Fingers crossed.
Nivi rolled the dice, 1... safe not won.
Swarnima rolled the dice, 2... safe not won.
All eyes on the board Nivi rolled the dice, 3... "yayayyy!! I won!! Bow to the champ!!" Nivi stood on the bed and celebrated his victory.

"Fine! This was pure luck. Next game.l, Ludo, skill and luck. Let's see if you can beat me in that." Swarnima laid the ludo board and pawns.

"I'l take red this time." Abhedya joined them.

"Why? That's Nim's choice." Nivi told him.

"It's because if you mix it with white it turns to pink that's why she chose red. And, you know I always pick red, it's my lucky colour. Now start quickly." Abhedya had lop sided smile on his face while giving the information.
