After Millie finished saying goodbye to everyone on set, she walked back to her trailer. She took her sweet time getting there, enjoying a bit of fresh air after hours of filming in a cooped up, stale environment.

She couldn't help but stare at the, soon to be full, moon shining brightly above her. Its light outshining all the stars in the night sky. This sight always managed to bring her peace and serenity. If she weren't as drained as she was, she would've taken a blanket out and stargazed till the dead of night.

When she made it to the trailer at last, she opened the door and sighed out loud as she came in. Finally, this day was over, she thought.

'That bad, huh?'

She jumped, her hand going straight to her heart as she nearly screamed at the sound of Finn's voice. She turned to see him walking out of the bathroom in his boxer shorts and a white Pull&Bear T-shirt he has loved sleeping in ever since he had started working on that campaign back in 2018. Near the end of the filming that year, that project was still a secret project so the only way he could really appreciate what he had come up with, without it getting leaked somehow, was by wearing it to sleep at least.

'What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in your apartment tonight?', she breathed out, her shoulders noticeably relaxing.

'I decided to stay', Finn replied as he pulled out the couch and started to put the sheets on it.

'Why? You were done filming a long time ago', Millie asked, unsure of why he would choose to sleep on that uncomfortable couch more times than necessary. She slept on it once during last season when she was the only one on set late at night and it killed her back. She was in so much pain the next day that she truly couldn't understand why Finn would put himself through that torture willingly. She only did that back then because she was missing him, but never again, she swore to herself; if she wanted to feel him close again, she would just take one of his 'Wolfhard' T-shirts instead, he always left them in the trailer anyway.

'I was waiting for you', he said as he sat down on the, now made up, couch and he looked up at her, feeling a bit self-conscious. He wanted to talk about the night before, but he didn't know how to start.

Millie was still standing by the door, almost like she was paralyzed. She hadn't expected him to be here tonight. 'You'll be tired tomorrow', she said faintly, trying to steer the subject away from the one he obviously wanted to bring up.

'So will you', he shrugged his shoulders.

'Yeah, but I was working, you weren't', she pointed out stutteringly.

Hearing the shakiness in her voice and seeing her eyes fixated on the one spot on the floor made Finn realize just how nervous she was around him now and it hurt seeing her like that, he loved it more when confidence shone through her.

And even though he was freaking out himself, he didn't want to chicken out now that they were finally alone. He wanted both of them to feel at ease with each other again.

'Doesn't matter, I didn't want to go to sleep before seeing you an-'

Millie shook her head fast, 'Finn, I know where you're going with this, but can we please talk about it tomorrow?', she asked pleadingly, 'I know we promised we'd always talk through our issues, but I'm exhausted, I honestly don't have the strength to-'

'Can we have a sleepover?', Finn interrupted her desperate rant.

Millie stopped mid-sentence, her lips agape as she stared at him, beyond confused by his 'out of the blue' question. 'Uh... what?'

'A sleepover. As in...you...sleep here...w-with me', he repeated uncertainly, his breath strained. He didn't think he'd be able to sleep again knowing she's in the other room and they still haven't talked. So sleeping with her next to him sounded like the best idea in his head, but now that he said it out loud, he wasn't so sure anymore.
