The knowledge of the chorus of this song is advised for the 'real life' part of this chapter.

The two co-stars were in Millie's car, on their way back to the apartment complex that will be their home for the rest of the year. After they had finished filming their last scene of the day, they talked to Shawn about their schedule for tomorrow for a bit, then went to their trailer to change into their own clothes and hopped straight into the car, eager to go home and get some rest.

Millie was quietly singing along to the soft sounds of the music emanating from the radio, trying to distract herself from the questions she was burning to ask. No matter how much she wanted to know everything, she didn't feel ready for that conversation. She needed some time to herself, to process what she had heard, before talking to Finn about it.

Finn clearing his throat out of the blue, interrupted her train of thought, 'Uh... I'm- I'm sorry about today', then after she glanced at him confusedly, he added, 'You don't have to pretend. I know you know, Mill'.

The brunette's eyes widened as her breath hitched. She continued staring at the road ahead and with a quivering voice, she asked, 'Y- You know?'

'Well, yeah', Finn sighed, 'I wasn't exactly the master of deception. Honestly, I'm starting to think I'm not that good of an actor'.

Millie's eyebrows furrowed, creating lines in the middle of her forehead, 'Wha- What are you talking about?'

'About lying to you today, you know, when you asked Caleb and I what we were talking about', he explained, 'I'm really sorry I lied. I know I promised not to, but I just... I don't know... I-'

'Oh, um...', she let out a silent breath of relief, 'it's okay. It's not like it's any of my business what you talk about with your friends'.

The lanky boy chuckled nervously, 'Uh... that... sentence makes me think it's not actually okay?'

'No, it is. Really, I mean it', she nodded, hoping he would let the subject go.

Her odd behavior didn't go unnoticed by Finn, and once again he was questioning whether it was possible that the girl had heard more than she was letting on. But her being adamant about changing the topic worked well with him. He wasn't exactly ready to talk to Millie about sex. Hell, he was barely ready to talk to her about kissing.

Speaking of which, he thought to himself, 'By the way, I should also apologize for catching you off guard with the kiss earlier. I just... I felt like it worked well with the scene. Like Mike would actually clumsily ran to El to give her a quick kiss before leaving the room even though he was risking getting caught'.

Feeling at ease because Finn had moved on to something she felt was safer, Millie smiled gently tossing a brisk look at him, 'I...', she started, 'I agree, he would probably do that. And no worries, I didn't mind it'.

'But?', Finn offered, noticing there was something else she wanted to say.

'But... if we're... hiding... this, then maybe you shouldn't do that anymore. It's going to raise questions', she shrugged with an almost apologetic look on her face. She didn't want him to think she was mad at him or something. She was just worried about what others might think. As she always was, unfortunately.

'Yeah', he trailed off with a sigh, 'I'm becoming aware that this 'hiding' thing is much harder than I originally thought'.

'Just like the 'going slow' thing?', she said, laughing softly.

Finn chuckled, shaking his head lightly, 'What can say... Maybe five years is... slow enough'.

Millie bit her lip trying to hide the bashful smile that threatened to spread on her face, 'You really liked me since the day we met?'
